This. Exactly how I saw it.

I think Bilic just told Pochettino that he should have stayed at Saints at the end of the game. Pochettino nodded and smiled.

Anyone else think we could be on the verge of something special?
TwoPints replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Well I think we are (on the verge of something special). Look at Liverpool and Manchester United. Their woes are all blamed on the fact that it takes time to integrate so many new players onto a team as they need time to 'gell'. Well Hello! We've got off to a good start no doubt, but I predicted 7 points after the first 5 games anyway however it's more to do with the style of play, the way the team have 'gelled' already and the professionalism of the manager. Just think what we can achieve when the team have played together for a while and with a few additions to the squad with our spare £30m in January. We're not going to win the damn league but the continuing improvement in the team over a period of years, the exciting style of play and the passion of the manager is something to behold. If that's not special, I don't know what is! -
I'm not sure anyone has said that the Europeans would refuse to sell their goods to us if we left the EU. The point I think is that the cost of importing EU goods would undoubtedly increase as the ability to sell goods freely in the UK would disappear. Anyone who thinks this would be cost neutral is a bit delusional I'm afraid. Are you also suggesting that we would only 'reciprocate' in selling goods to the EU if they sold their goods to us? Best make the exporters aware of this then as it sounds like the cost of importing goods is going up and the ability to export to Europe is going down, the costs of which would also inevitably increase by the way. I wonder who's going to end up paying for that and losing their jobs as a result?

Never done that route before. It was just pot luck to be honest. We got to Finsbury Park and realised there was no queue for the overground (not sure why there weren't more locals on it but the train was almost empty) so one of the lads suggested we get on to Kings cross and from there is was pretty straightforward. We too got one of the last few seats on the 11:05 after debating whether to catch the next train and go for a beer instead. I must admit, when we were sitting on the train with the doors stuck, I had visions of the next train pulling out while we were still sat there not too bad in the end though.

Had no problems getting there from Waterloo. Yes it was busy but it was rush hour and there was a game on. Walked to Finsbury Park on the way home. Got the overground train to Kings Cross (no queues), Victoria Line to Oxford Circus then back on the Northern Line to get on the 11;05 home. Simples.

I like Turkish's 'Wheels on the Bus' version.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Man United losing (Saints winning obviously) would be another great weekend.
-
Shame that, you'd have enjoyed it if we get to the final but clearly you won't be going because why would you want to watch a Mickey mouse game?

Man Utd .... Hahahahahhahahhahahahha Liverpool ... Hahahahhahhahahhahahha Spurs... Hahahahhahhahahhahahha Great set of results.

Just ordered mine. Does this mean that the Qjacker thing isn't happening now or is this something different?

I like to sing in the shower so I wonder if Les uses the same approach which might explain why he's made some good singings?

Strikes me that Boruc has had a bit of a dodgy attitude since Forster was signed. He hasn't even been on the bench yet so he wasn't going to get a game even if he stayed. Best get someone else to cover his wages until we can get rid and replace him with someone who wants to be here. IMHO

I hope she's worth it!

Who is the real Ronald Koeman? - Sky Sports Article

I've never been to Holland therefore I've never been force fed chips with mayonnaise. Just good old salt works for me (maybe a nice butty too). It helps keep my blood pressure up too. -
Loud tartan monstrosity.

I sat in the East stand for a few seasons and there was a chap that sat in the front row, dubbed 'Mr Naughty' by my neighbours son, as he was always getting reprimanded by the stewards for doing stuff like pushing a player or pulling their shorts just as they were about to take a throw in. He never got thrown out though even though it was a regular occurrence. ? If any opposing subs that the fans weren't too keen on happened to run past, they would get a shed load of abuse on the way to the corner flag and on the way back again .... Happy days ?

Well I think we know which way WGS is voting based on the tie he's wearing on ITV tonight.
