  1. Ok, that's great. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the info but how did you find that? Just wondering so I can track Saints games down myself. Cheers
  3. Just had my 'Potentially Sneaky User' email from PLP. ?
  4. Me too Carfest or Reading?
  5. Just had an email from PLP but not what I expected when I read it... It was a preview of the weekends games on PLP! This is what they had to say about Saints v WBA : Southampton v West Bromwich Albion ***KICK OFF 02:00 AUGUST 24 NZT Most pundits expected much depleted Southampton to cop a severe beating at the hands of Liverpool (the team that had pillaged their playing stock the most during the summer) but it took a late goal to finally subdue them. That performance should give the club a lift as they go into their first game at home. Having said that they are still an untried combination with most still trying to remember their team-mates names so fluency could be an issue. West Brom started the season with their traditional draw where they once again failed to hold on to a lead. This issue dogged them throughout last season and could be terminal this year if they don't sort it out. In Saido Berahino they have an up and coming star and if they can get him heavily involved could cause the Saints some problems. Any game involving The Baggies has a high likelihood of ending in a draw but there was enough of a defiant spirit shown by Southampton last week that makes me feel they can give their fans something to lift the gloom left by the multiple summer defections. Key Player: Ronald Koeman. The Dutch coach will have to engender a spirit of unity and purpose if he is to have a successful season. Managed it last week away from home as huge underdogs, can he do it at home where they will be firm favourites? Davis: 2-1
  6. I just bought a month from the Taiwan site. Only been on to watch one or two matches so far so maybe they haven't caught up with me yet. Can't make the game this weekend so I'll have to watch it on PLP on Monday. I guess I might get the email after that.
  7. The late BBC news said it was something other than matters previously made public but didn't go into details for obvious reasons but seems like this is gathering pace. What always strikes me when stories like this come out is how ****ing stupid the protagonists must be. Never mind about whether this is what you believe or not, to put such things in writing, presumably from his work email account... in a high profile job like that, you've got no ****ing chance. I wouldn't risk anything untoward in an email as you just don't know where it'll end up and I think it's safe to say that I'm unlikely to attract the attention of the national media. If the article is true, then he does come across as a really odious bloke.
  8. Oops. Haven't had one of these yet but I suspect it'll be coming soon. Glad I just bought a month to start with!

Brilliant. Just shows that Lambert is a hypocritical ****.
  10. There are no problems pre season. It's only a problem come the start of the season and I saw very few problems in the performance today. People seem to automatically think that change is a problem. We have a different team to the one I started supporting 35 years ago and we have a different team to the one I was supporting last year. No problem.

  12. This. Yoshida seems to get a lot of grief on this forum when he really didn't do a lot wrong today. No way at fault for either goal yet people seem to want to slaughter him just for being on the pitch. He's a Saint FFS so support him.

  14. Well, there's certainly something he wanted to say that in the end he didn't but not sure why what he did say would cause offence. Seems like he's still passionate about Saints and cares about our future. I'm sure that after today's game he'll be less concerned.!

  16. Wrong. Just plain wrong. On another day we'd have scored three, a combination of poor finishing and bad luck did for us today. We created plenty of chances which, on another day, we would have taken. You seem to think that we should somehow be better than the team that finished second last year, have spent £100m since then and were playing at home. With that in mind, we had no chance, but in the end we did. We played exceptionally well. If we play like that every week we'll easily finish in the top ten.

  20. I'm actually disappointed that we didn't win that game - against last years runners up! We deserved at least a draw. With a bit of luck and some composure we'd have won that. Cracking second half in particular. Give it a week or two, a new addition or two and I can easily see us finishing 8th again. COYR
