Personally I think it's ******, why would Liverpool buy Lambert? I think the press have come up with the Lambert /scouse link and put 2 and 2 together. Kruger says no one's going until the new boss gets in. He's admitted mistakes already and if he's ****ed up here then his credibility is gone.

I actually agreed with his first point... but maybe not the way he articulated it.

Yes but it's easier for people to blame to EU to help their bolster their blinkered view of the EU. It reminds me of the Life of Brian quote 'What have the Romans ever done for us'.
-
Yep, it's all the EU's fault that Greece borrowed more than they could afford.
-
Some could argue that the far right always does well in times of hardship and recession. Let's just hope the economies of Europe improve quickly to dissipate this threat until the next recession.

I realised what I'd said after I'd posted it but couldn't be bothered to change it. Thought I might get away with it but should have known better :-)

What policies are they then? Anyone know apart from leaving the EU? People certainly haven't voted for them because of their 'policies' and the only party offering a definite OUT of Europe only managed 28% of the vote. More than other individual party granted but where you've only got one policy, it's clear that the majority have voted against it. Doesn't seem to me that the majority like their one policy to me. Indeed the prevalence of the far right in Europe, including in GB should be a frightening development for any right minded person.

I love an election but at some stage I need to be going to bed... Work tomorrow. Why can't they have elections on a Friday?

No surprise that UKIP are doing well in P****muff

Bloody hell Piers Morgan and Joey Barton next time! WTF do they know about what's right and wrong?
-
Yep, the only way to watch QT is while reading twitter at the same time. It's hilarious but there are so many tweets, it's impossible to read them all and watch whats going on at the same time. Just got to be a bit selective.

This is my second LOL of the night. Wise words Lord D.
-
Blimey.. I think I agree with you Lord (not about the baldy but about the Lib/Dumb chappy). Hamilton and Mrs H have always been a fairly odious couple IMHO, I'm sure UKIP could have put someone better than him forward.
-
Can't talk watching the UKIP show, sorry, I mean Question Time.
-
I was the only one in the polling station at about 7:30pm tonight. Just me and four fairly bored looking volunteers.

Haven't renewed yet but that's only because I haven't been able to renew my daughters online (for some reason) so I'll have to go down to SMS when I have time (which is running out fast!). No hesitation in getting a ST though.

What did they say?

Farage left flustered and irate by LBC interview
TwoPints replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
'Unsavoury characters'? ... if they're unsavoury I'd hate to meet someone that might be a unpleasant! Not sure how chairing a committee with the European far right parties will bring down the EU 'in the short term' and if they did manage it, it doesn't bear thinking about ... living in a Europe controlled by the far right, I thought we'd put an end to that 70 years ago! -

Doesn't Farage chair a committee of this lot in Europe? If he doesn't agree with their views, I wonder why he hasn't resigned in disgust as chairman or even as a committee member. Might be wrong here of course and if I am, no doubt I'll be put right soon :-) -
How will you be voting on Thursday in the Euro and local elections?
TwoPints replied to TopGun's topic in The Lounge
Hmm... think I'm going to have to go Labour as they've probably got the best chance of keeping the protest votes in check this time around. -
Meltdown... really!

Bit off topic but just to let you know that Jay Rod is on drive time on Talksport this evening.

Well, I'm afraid you're question is rather pointless if your answer is always going to be 'well we would have done that anyway' when quite clearly at least 50% of those in my list wouldn't /couldn't have been achieved outside the EU, but all the same I'm still unsure of those that you disagree with.
