Guan didn't say she'd said that but that 'she knows that may depend on how many goals the new striker scores'. and you seem to be agreeing with her. The point in question here though is that Guan referred to striker as opposed to strikers which makes me think that one new one is in the bag.

I read this as Hernandez as part of the Shaw deal. Looks like that may have been agreed but doesn't mean we won't get another striker, it's just that this is the one that's pretty much done. IMHO.

Here's my theory ... Ronald and Ralph (sounds like a good title for a sitcom!) are both on holiday. Ralph's in Miami and Ronald is clubbing in Ibiza (probably). When they're both back then there'll be a press conference to announce his appointment. No point announcing a new manager who then promptly ****s off on holiday for a couple of weeks! You can just imagine the reaction to that on this forum.
