Well that's cost us a few quid

Jeremy Kyle, he seems like a right ****. Steve Claridge for the same reason.
-
Isn't there reference to this on the mural on the bridge over the railway line near the Stadium?
-
Umm, maybe the reason Glasgow was to keep people informed as they'd promised to so? Just a thought.

Well it's safe to say that the Press Conference will be a little sparse. There'll just be one bloke from the Echo as everyone else is in Brazil.

I like the cut of his gib ... all money from player sales going to strengthen the squad, talk about introducing new players at a marque friendly, cracking new training facilities, I'm wetting my pants with excitement for the announcement of the new manager
-
That's the way I heard it too when he mentioned that they have kept an eye on up and coming managers. Could be a surprise after all. Still hoping for Ronnie though!
-
Here's my theory ... Ronald and Ralph (sounds like a good title for a sitcom!) are both on holiday. Ralph's in Miami and Ronald is clubbing in Ibiza (probably). When they're both back then there'll be a press conference to announce his appointment. No point announcing a new manager who then promptly ****s off on holiday for a couple of weeks! You can just imagine the reaction to that on this forum.

Looks like the odds on Koeman have drifted and Ranieri is down to 5/2 in places. Gulp!
-
Bloody hell. Desperate or what?
-
Its clearly a comedy account but not mine!
-
LOL, 'fraid not.

@PositiveKrueger I've just had a wonderful chat with @SimonPeach here at the Sun Life Stadium. Liverpool won't get him cheap, I assure you. #SaintsFC
-
Simon Peach has just spoken with Ralph in Miami so it looks like there'll be no news for at least a few days.
-
Bugger ... I'll calm down now then!

I might be reading this wrong but Betfred, BetVictor, Ladbrokes, William Hill and Betfair also seem to have suspended betting.

I think it's fairly clear that Lallana was going to leave from his 'I've had some great memories here' speech at the Awards Dinner, if not before. Not sure what it is the board have supposedly done wrong here - he's had a great season, so there's demand for him from the 'bigger clubs, it's going to happen. I think Shaw will probably leave too although of that I'm not so certain. If he doesn't go this year, he'll be off in January or next year - not the board's fault, it's what happens. Wait until the new boss gets his feet under the table, then we will undoubtedly lose a few players and no doubt some new one's will come in too. All this noise is happening because the board haven't accepted offers on him so far and to my mind, that's a good thing isn't it?
-
I see that Bet365, BWIN, 32Red, StanJames, Betway, Boylesports and Betdaq have suspended betting on the new boss today. All others have RK shortening and the rest, bar one or two exceptions, are drifting.

Spooky, I only watched that episode last night!

So, a hack with nothing better to do as the club aren't telling him anything has a sulk and comes up with a story that all the players are unhappy, gets called on it my MLT and can't explain why and the place goes into meltdown about what a shambles of a board we have. As far as I can see, MoPo has gone and he was going to leave anyway. Not sure there is anything they could have done about Lambert apart from royally **** him off by not letting him go and apart from that, the club have been true to their word and are turning down bids for our players (it's not their fault that clubs are making bids for our talented players btw, it was inevitable after last season) as they said they would until the new manager is appointed. Same goes for renewing contacts I imagine. They're not going to renew contracts for players that might not be in the new bosses plans. Hold tight, it might all end well.
-
Twilight generally means towards the end of a career. Yes, Lambert's career had taken an upturn in the last twelve months (and arguably since he signed for Saints) but I don't think there's any denying that he's in his twilight years. As for refusing a bid for a player, how is that incompetent and who said it's because the bid was too low and not because he's not for sale, at least until the new boss gets his feet under the table? Talk about hysteria. Jeez
-
I'm really hoping it'll be Koeman but knowing Saints we'll end up with Alan Curbishley or Neil Warnock.
-
Maybe they want a manager in quickly then they can offload Lallana, Shaw, Lambert and spider and grab the cash, blaming the new boy for team selection. Kerching.

Rubbish tonight. Half an hour of ukip propaganda (again) and then pointless waffle.
