  1. If Everton pinch Tadic I'll never buy their mints again!
  2. I can see this... The whole seasons going to be a nightmare because we haven't signed anyone after a week of the transfer window being open. Just trolling?
  3. We should keep him, fine him whatever the maximum fine is and drop him to the reserves for a few months until he sees the error of his ways. He can tell everyone how great Liverpool is from there.
  4. Probably the same story rehashed into Serbian but thought I'd post it anyway: Schreuder reveals: Tadic leaves for Southampton Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 16:30 FC Twente won Sunday the first game of the new season (14-1 against vv Oldenzaal) and Dusan Tadic was the notable absentee at FC Twente. Coach Alfred Schreuder said afterwards that the attacker was not playing to avoid the risk of injury: Tadic will in fact be in the days to transfer to Southampton start to finish. / The 25-year-old Tadic is the first purchase of Ronald Koeman , who in the Serb sees a suitable successor for the Liverpool left Adam Lallana. There were several clubs interested in the services of Tadic, but now so Schreuder said that his star player is going to Southampton. He revealed this to RTV Oost. It is not known what Southampton pay for Tadic, but reportedly there are about twelve million. The forward played four seasons in the Netherlands: two by two with Twente and FC Groningen. Koeman wants next Tadic also striker Graziano Pelle from among the Premier League and it is expected that his transfer will be completed next week.
  5. Personally, I think it's got **** all to do with the club's ambition. I think he's saying whatever he can to get out of the club. The only thing that matters to someone like Lovren is the amount of cash he can squeeze out of the highest bidder ... the greedy ****
  6. Phew, I was starting to get a bit worried there! Won't do any chicken counting until it's announced though.
  7. Bit of a ridiculous analogy really. Clearly a bank has nothing to do with owning a football team. The strength of any company, is based on the value of its assets and it's cash flow. In those terms, Saints are in a very strong position. The point about having cash in the bank is that the much maligned board have done an excellent job extracting so much money out of the sale of two players that were going to leave in any case. If that's not good business, I don't know what is. Players will come. No doubt we won't all agree that they're the right ones for this club but I would like to think that we've waited for Ronald to get here before deciding which ones to bring in. Negotiations taking longer than a week isn't unusual by any stretch of the imagination.
  8. They look quite tight fitting. I hope they have more 'loose fitting' shirts for us bloaters.
  9. Indeed, we're certainly missing some bushy topped players.
  10. That sounds plausible as both life in the Bournemouth area.
  11. Well now the Belgians are out no doubt we'll get more activity
  12. You're too kind
  13. We haven't 'lost' 'our' Chairman, but have replaced the Chairman with a more accountable board. I think I prefer the latter. We haven't 'lost' a manager as the one we had has been replaced by (arguably) a much more experienced one with connections throughout Europe. We haven't 'lost' our youth team coaches, they were sacked .. for reasons that we can only speculate on. We haven't 'lost' 3 key players, we have sold them for a huge sum of cash. The new manager's only been in place for a week, the transfer window has only been open a week so it is not too much of a surprise that we haven't yet signed anyone. If you read the posts from people who really are ITK, you'll have understood that there are plenty of negotiations going on to bring high calibre players to the team. If we'd gone and paid over the odds for these people without properly negotiating for the best deal, I'm sure they would have been here by now but I have no doubt you and your type would have been the first to slag off the board for spending too much money on them. For me, this isn't a club in turmoil but a club going through a transition, that is not of it's making, unless you include being too successful as being their fault. Stop panicking until there is something to panic about.
  14. I assuming that dream 4 came with spiders the size of dinner plates?
  15. **** me, there's always one isn't there.
  16. I like the sound of him! Thanks Feyenoorder, good insight.
  17. I see The Daily Star have picked up on this : http:// http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/386752/Liverpool-Adam-Lallana-Southampton
  18. Whilst I like the idea of calling him a c*nt, just a nice simple 'Clattenberg was right' 'you've changed' Might work and would fit in with the banner idea. And for extra effect you could add: 'you complete c*nt'
