And he's right. I understand that change frightens people and they struggle to understand how doing things differently can be as effective to what they're used and they fail to understand why it takes time for these changes to get embedded into a team but I'm sure that when Puels time eventually comes to an end, you'll be complaining that the new way is different to the way Puel did things and you therefore don't like it. I think we're doing OK. Just one lapse where Davis decided not to close Rooney down and they score. Apart from that effort we've had nothing to worry about. We've created a few chances and I'm sure we'll create a few more in the second half. I'm keeping everything crossed as this game ain't over yet. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

For what reason would you wish to keep them until the end of the window? So we can continue to pay their wages for a few weeks more? Maybe so they could be disruptive around the training ground? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I don't expect it to be overly positive but blimey, some of the doom merchants on here are beyond belief. I appreciate there are plenty of WUMs about but people do seem rather more despondent than is good for them.

A West Ham fan at work has just approached me and told me he's bet on Southampton as his dark horse to finish in the top 5 this season. "Liverpool are the only one's you need to worry about" he said! I was just reading all the whinging and whining posts on here so it looks like a West Ham fan is more positive about us than most of the Saints fans on here. Admittedly he's absolutely barking for thinking we'll finish 5th but it's nice to hear something positive about our club after reading this thread!

I am currently selling a property and we had Purple Bricks around to give us a valuation as they had recently sold a neighbours property and the neighbour was very pleased with the whole process. However, in the end we decided to opt for a traditional Estate agent for a few reasons really: 1. Purpose Bricks valued the property at circa £30k less than the traditional Estate agents that quoted (we've since had an offer of the asking price). Could just be the individual valuer getting it wrong though. 2. With Purple Bricks you pay their fee whether they sell it or not. Obviously they have an incentive to sell the property as their reputation depends on it but if they fail, then you're £800 down. 3. All the traditional agents advertise properties online now and we just felt it was better to have that personal contact where the agent can build a relationship with potential buyers and talk them into viewing rather than leaving them to make their own decisions based purely on what the pictures look like on the website. Just a few of my thoughts on it. As I say, they sold a neighbours property and they were happy with the service but for us, the pros of a traditional agent outweighed the online offering. The agent we used was brilliant so if you're in the area, I would suggest getting Enfields round to give you a valuation. They've been great for us and very professional... and before you ask, no, I don't have any connection with them. Just a happy customer (so far). Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

What exactly is it that you do on a plane to get you disheveled? Whenever I've had meetings requiring flights or trains I've generally worn my suit rather than turn up in my jeans and say 'excuse me, can I get changed in your toilets please before our meeting'! Or maybe you were thinking he'd get changed in the toilets at Manchester Airport or possibly the back of the car taking him to the meeting?

I noticed a post yesterday mentioning that Fonte was on a flight to Manchester. Normally I ignore such rumours but I have just been told the same story from someone at work who has a friend that was on the Manchester flight yesterday. Jose was on the flight too, "all suited and booted".

I assume this is a wind up. If not, have you not noticed that we've got to the 'next level' every year since we ended up in league 1. The 'next level' for the clubs you mention is to get above us. Who would have imagined we'd be saying goes that 5 years ago?

There we are. That wasn't too bad was it. Good that you've confirmed that this random act of violence was nothing to do with terrorism. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk -

But no clarification of the facts when your links turn out to be nothing to do with terrorism? Just leave them there on a thread about terrorism? Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk -

I see your continuing to use the Trump theory that if you keep saying there's an incident every day then eventually people will believe it. -

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
TwoPints replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
No , it isn't. There is a group/army of nutcases that form terrorist organisations that are supporters of a warped view is Islam. That's a long way from Islam being to blame. That's like saying that being Irish was the cause if terrorism in the 70s whereas there were plenty of law abiding Irish in the country at the time as there are Muslims now. -
