  1. Your missus has probably got a headache too.
  2. Don't be shy now you're on the forum SLB. Always good to hear from other team's fans. We even let a few Pompey on here.
  3. The most prolific striker in Saints' history if I recall. RIP Glasgow_Saint
  4. Right. And you are usually so on the money with your comments too.
  5. He has to win a place back. It's not going to be "yippee, Jay's fit again, Off you go mate!" There is more competition for his place now than there was when he picked up his injury. It's not like we've fallen apart is it?
  6. JWP is still young. He will get better and will add goals to his game. He has the brain.
  7. Maybe we could have blind auditions for new fans like in The Voice. Come up with a witty anti Pompey song, sing it like Al Green on steroids or f*ck off.

Just watched the '68 black leather comeback performance. Recorded 2 years before I was born. What a singer he was. Never bettered in my opinion. My daughter didn't know who he was!!!!! His voice is like stealing your Dad's car, picking up the hottest girl in town, taking her to church and f*cking her dirty style when everyone else has left. Obviously I didn't point this out to my daughter.
  9. Should have held it. However, made 2 brilliant saves before half time to keep us in the game. Let's not get on FF's case because of a poor team performance.
  10. Thought you thoroughly deserved it. Played well. We were sh*te. Good luck in the next round.
  11. To be fair I would have picked Cork to play today. He just had a stinker and you are right, I would rather he had that today and then played a blinder against Swansea.
  12. He RANX pretty low on my alltime favourites list.
  13. I wa kind of hoping Tadic would be our number 10. IMHO he's lucky to be in the team at the moment. Would like to see: Elia Pelle Mane, Bertrand Vic, Morgan, Clyne Yoshi, Toby, Fonte
  14. Don't worry Alps. Morgan, Vic, Toby, Yoshi and Mane to come back soon. I reckon we can go again.
  15. I don't know about that. If Wanyama had been playing instead of Cork do you think we would have 'lost' the midfield?
  16. Not a great deal of support for Andy Awful in the comments. I think he's doing a fine job.
  17. At what cost though? He was atrocious today.
  18. Said the same about Lallana.
  19. Just back from the game... and what a disappointing performance and result. Firstly though, well played to Palace. I thought they were excellent in the first half. Pressed us high up the pitch and put together some good movement and passing in the final third. Thoroughly deserved to go into half time in the lead and, but for a couple of excellent saves from Forster, could have easily been 5-2 up. Chamakh out muscled our midfield when he dropped a little deeper and Saha's pace troubled even the usually unflappable Bertrand. Sanogo looks like being a good loan for them and fair play to Pardew, he has them looking like a much more effective team. Onto Saints: If I was Jack Cork I would be taking the opportunity presented by my early substitution to rush down the tunnel and sign that contract. On today's showing there won't be a queue of clubs making better offers. Off the pace from the start, lost almost every 50-50 and gave it away regularly. Sideways passing and a fear of getting forward and offering something in the final third. Poor day Richard;) He wasn't alone though, poor day all round for Davis, Ward Prowse (though looked a little better when he dropped deeper in the second half) and Clyne. The best part of Dusan's game today was his outstanding performance as ballboy. He was excellent in getting the ball back quickly to any Palace player dawdling over a throw in or free kick. Good work mate. Now if someone could just give you a bit of a gee-up when you've got possession of the ball it would be great. Too casual. Too slow. Too wasteful. I thought Pelle did ok today (after getting what looked like a nasty knock in the first few minutes. Chuffed he got his goal after the work he has put in over the last few games but other than that, didn't really present much of a threat. Lacked anybody making runs off of him though so had a bit of a thankless afternoon. The bright spot for me today was Elia. He's much more of a natural wideman than Mane. Takes up some good positions, worked much more effectively with Bertrand and always looked to be direct and positive. Worked hard and never gave up. Would have scored a screamer near the end too if it wasn't for an excellent save by the Palace keeper. I like what I've seen so far. All in all, I don't have too many complaints about the result today. Looking forward to having Morgan and Vic back and I hope Long's injury isn't too bad (looked more dangerous with him on the pitch today). Finally, a quick word to the (sh*te) ref: When you have got a simple decision horrendously wrong, giving a soft free kick to the hard done by team shortly after play restarts, doesn't make you look like a fair ref, balancing things out. It makes you look like an even more incompetent knob. Upwards and onwards. At least we can (all) concentrate on the league.
  20. Soz. Done.
  21. Hope he stays. Sign up Richard Cork! Some of us occasionally like you !
