  1. All the best Jos. One of my favourite saints players
  2. What a guy. keep going like this morgan, and we'll sell you to Real Madrid next summer.
  3. Bedwetter? Happy clapper? Yet more pointless crap from SW members while inept morons continue to get away with mismanaging our club.
  4. Absolutely
  5. It astounds me how meek saints fans are. You care enough to waste your time on here, but do nothing apart from applaud players who are clearly leaving on a flippin' lap of honour on the last day of the season. Thats why the board get away with being as useless as they are.
  6. We shouldnt be boycotting this game. We should be turning up in droves and telling the board to go fu&k themselves
  7. Koeman has a reputation from Feyenoord at being good at changing tactics during games, which in this regard will be an improvement on Poch. Last season we were pretty much a first half team, we got loads of our points from putting weaker sides away in the first 45. Im looking forward to nodding sagely at my spurs supporting mates when they complain about that next season
  8. Brave, but bizarre attempt to a positive spin on things Take lovren and morgan out of that line up and you have a team of boruc, fonte, clyne, cork, an injured J-Rod and a load of question marks.
  9. odds now shortening on Claudio Ranieri
  10. I agree. If we do sell adam, luke, lovren, morgan as well as rickie then that must bring in about 80 million. Plenty of scope for a £50 million pot for new players, plus balances the books. That 50 mill could then not be spent on like for like replacements (obviously) but on say seven or eight cheaper players. We would lose the quality of the first eleven but possibly have greater squad depth. Not saying i agree with this strategy, just trying to work out what it might be
  11. We would need to increase the fan base - a club like spurs has a restricted capacity but season tickets are vastly oversubscribed. They have a huge income from sponsorship due to the number of supporters they have. If we can remain a successful, mid table premiership side (+ winning a cup or two) over the next 5 - 10 years we might be able to grow the fan base a bit - encouraging more local youngsters to support Saints and not top 6 clubs...but to be honest I cant really see that happening to an extent that we will become a top 6 club.
  12. He would be better off following Poch to Spurs - the pressing game suits him
  13. Strange watching AL with the probability he will not be a saint soon. Same here. As I know (but not ITK) that he wont be a saint much longer, I felt strangely ambivalent watching AL play. I reckon I would have been raving had Steven Davis been (a) English and (b) passing the ball sideways in a very tidy fashion out there. Quite reassuring really - guess it doesn't really matter who plays - I support anyone who plays for the saints.
  14. England are a couple of Lallanas short of a team
  15. Really? Whats more likely: a vast conspiracy hatched by a single disgruntled employee or the other scenario: simply that other clubs have spotted that the Saint's board doesn't know its arse from its elbow and are (quite sensibly) trying to prise our good players away? As others have said, some people are burying there heads in the sand.
  16. Its worth it, if only to show we wont just bend over and take it
  17. Does anyone else feel f**king livid now? It may be early days but I sense the club is imploding. Is there anyone who is a member of supporters groups who feels the same and wants to organise some kind of protest? I would join like a shot
  18. IIRC did Poch not say that he wouldn't sign Espanyol players when he joined Saints? I would expect him to extend us the same courtesy
  19. why not?
  20. I think we need to be putting some pressure on the board. Twitter campaign?
  21. Yeah but that's just mopping up afterwards
  22. Exactly!
  23. We're about to lose our manager and several of our best players. We wont be able to attract replacements of the same calibre Next season will be a relegation struggle. Do we as fans just accept that the club won't progress? The club is privately owned but we are the customers. And the customers should have a say. What should / can we do? So far we appear to be mainly being meek.
