  1. Merry Christmas.
  2. Played at the coast so had 2h drive after the round. Merry Christmas
  3. Good lad
  4. Think Puel set him back with the whole "Henry" experiment and playing him out of position. His attitude also seemed all wrong. Fair play to him for recent form. He owes us more than 2-3 games though. Confidence is key with this lad it seems
  5. Might sound dramatic but possibly saved this club. Under Reed n Hughes we were slowly dying. Fans losing interest and importantly the next generation of fan completely repulsed by SFC. The club had lost its mojo, it's identity, it's purpose. The feel good is back
  6. Advocaat alongside Wang Baoshan
  7. That's the sad reality. Not only did Les fully reverse our upward momentum but he has left us with a much weakened and heavy squad and the 8th best paid at yet. We will sadly be feeling the impact of his incompetence for a few years yet. Just thankful that we have cut out the illness before it became incurable. Hoping we hit the bottom of that momentum curve when Reed was finally sacked. #WeMarchOn
  8. Cheers Tom
  9. Great results but still loads of work to be done here. Don't forget Swansea and Carvalhal last season. He was appointed and they won 5 in 8 and then collapsed and relegated
  10. My mates call me mystic Meg but even I didn't see that coming. Fair play Puel.
  11. Delighted with that. Missed the game as golfing today. First time I've backed us to win for a longtime and that money will feel a little sweeter than the normal insurance bets Ralph
  12. Was unlikely to ever get a decent club job again so back office FA is probably best he could expect. Les can now focus on the job, not his Liverpool commission!! In the meantime we can try to move on and recover from his mismanagement

    Advocaat

I'd take Advocaat alongside Wang Baoshan
  14. Why would Spurs go for RH even if he does show potential for next 6 months? Surely they'd go for a manager whose proved it over a longer PL period. Like Silva, Howe or even Chris Hughton or Rafael Benítez
  15. I'm not convinced that was the "Southampton way" but more the Les Reed way. Leicester have shown that you can keep top player talent for more than 2 years, so have even AFCB and Palace. Even we showed (b4 Les) that players will stay longer if they are part of something with potential
  16. You always know when Les is lying His lips move
  17. Had a flick through the leicester forum earlier, seems all doom n gloom with loadsa comments like "really losing interest" "boring" and "3pm Saturday is now a good time for a nap" On the contrary I feel RH has given us a lift and for first time in 2 years I'm starting to look forward to games again. Anyone feel the same energy again?
  18. 2 trophies and a better win % than Klopp and Mopo. Sacked because his style of football had become so boring and negative and he seems to have lost the majority of fans and players. Managers need to hug players more these days.
  19. Nigel Clough is a world class manager
  20. Puel was already the bookies favorite for next manager sacked and failing to beat a much weakened city side won't help his popularity. #hangingon
  21. Zidane, Jardim, Puel or Mopo.
  22. @Charlie Wayman
  23. Not even on the bench yesterday? Injured? Could be important if Redmond now out?
  24. Need to see it over a few games before we get too excited. Remember Carvalhal at Swansea, came in won away at Watford and then beat Liverpool and Arsenal.... Then lost 6 and drew 3 of the last 9!! Will take a little while yet to fully beat 2.5 years of crap outta us.
  25. Last time you looked forward to match of the day?
