Most of us mere mortals have to daily live with the possibility of losing our jobs, being made redundant, being overlooked, earning a pittance and being taken advantage of etc etc. Count yourself lucky Boruc that you can earn a bloody good salary playing a game you love even if it is on the sidelines for the moment.

No I haven't watched Forester for a full season granted, but I have seen him play enough to know that he is pretty good. He is also Englands number 2 and RK obviously rates him enough to get the board to splash out 10m on him. As mentioned earlier, Boruc is a great keeper but when he is bad, boy he makes some horrendous and embarrasing blunders. What we need is consistency in a keeper and not one that you are not sure what he will do next. What I dont get is that on this forum there has been an outcry to get a better keeper, and now that we have many are saying that Boruc should still be our number 1.

We are better off in terms of having a better number one goalkeeper. Boruc has made some wonder saves but when he keeps punting the ball to the opposition and keeps having his brain storms it counts for nothing. Forester is as good as Boruc but hopefully he is not as bad.

I dont see any mocking of Garmin, just banter. Cant see why anyone would mock Garmin coming onboard, good news all round.

Well I think this is a good signing if it happens. Yeh a bit pricey but we are fooked now because everyone knows we have cash to spend. Similar to Jay Rod in style and could be as good with the right service.

The trouble is all our players we have sold this summer were on contracts be it long or short, contracts amount to sweet fa and the players know it. The club have finally decided to act hardball but have left it too late, the rot is already well set in and Morgan is obviously p*ssed that they now use him to make a stance. I think there should be some sort of ruling where it hurts when a player wants to break his contract, i.e. no salary
