For those who are serious about their history

Yes I thought you probably had. I have lived outside the area now for 20 years or so but amazed to see the business still going strong. Mick Channon and Brian O'Neil use to be regular customers purchasing in the main ammo for hunting, how times have changed. -

Out of interest and unrelated to above, my first job was working at Holt & Haskells in the early 70's and I have recently looked up Arthur Holt on google and what a sporting history he had. Saints player and Hants cricketer with the Pavilion named after him at the Rose Bowl. Being young at the time I never really thought about his achievements and he rarely spoke of them as well. He was a lovely guy along with Mr Haskell especially when you consider that I was sick in their office one xmas and they were complete gents about it. I met alot of sporting heroes whilst I was there, too numerous to mention, but what an experience for a kid and one I will never forget. Did you know them Duncan? -
Will a game abroad be classed as home or away?
-
Absolutely!! I totally agree. I hope whoever makes the final desicion kicks this purely money making idea into touch once and for all. This is no doubt instigated by the so called big clubs to enable them to spend even more ludicrous amounts on purchasing players and keeping them in the lifestyle they are now accustomed too. Football seriously needs a rocket up its a r s e before the disenchanted start to lose interest.

MATCHDAY UNCOVERED: Queens Park Rangers
Saint Billy replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Thanks Saint Armstrong for that, really enjoy these behind the scenes vids. Sammy, what a star, if you can't keep motivated with him about you never will be, full credit to Ronald for getting him back on board. -
I would push to buy him in Jan!

Anyone else think we could be on the verge of something special?
Saint Billy replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Talk Sport have been talking us up over the last fews which is good to hear but also makes me jittery. 5 games in, great start, but I am determined not to get carried away but will enjoy the ride. Great to see Ronald placing more importance on cup games as realistically this where we can win something. -

And to top all of that Clare Balding is a Saints fan!!! ....can life get any better. Like Washsaint, I am excited by the start we have had but, early days so I temper my excitement with a huge amount of caution. -
Just WOW!

Unfortunately the better Ronald does the more speculation will follow. -
New day, refreshed brain, and yep, this thread still makes no sense.

5th biggest spenders in the league. Held onto Morgan and Jayrod. Signed 2 exciting players on final day. I think the joke is on someone else!
-
Well chuffed with the result. Great to see Pelle coming good. As for Morgan, despite everything at least you are still putting in a shift for saints.
-
Blimey that puts the Shane Long fee into perspective, and I bet McGoldrick can't dummy a pass like Shane can!
-
Dont forget that we have also sold a couple of faggot's for £7
-
Good for you but I have still not worked out what the 3 was all about.

Your mum didn't do the jelly thing did she? Uuugh.

My first fish was an eel!!!

Perhaps he caught more than a cold at De Vere's and realised that maybe his decision to come was a bit rash?
-
I have been fishing a handful of times and although I have hardly caught anything exciting I enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. What I don't get is programs on TV like Robson Green etc, when they land a fish and its laying there gasping with a hook through its mouth they then suddenly turn it into a natural history lesson pointing out its beautiful markings and its huge dorsal fin and its ability in its own environment etc etc. This is not a fish wealthfare thing, its just that if you hook a fish, either eat it or throw it back to live another day and enjoy your sport but dont make out your interested in its beauty and its markings around the eyes.

[quote name= Will do, Saint Billy. I should be getting the starter kit either today or tomorrow.[/quote] Cheers for that. Have tried Elites but were not quite strong enough. I have read that off the shelf ecigs are much the same and that you have to pay a bit more for quality.

I dont understand, why are we in uproar about Ramirez possibly leaving when he hardly ever plays? Why is it that we must have a creative replacement if he hardly ever plays? Btw, have we forgotten that we have Taider?

Let me know how your getting on with the Green brand as I am thinking about going down the same route.
