Cant see that to be honest, much of the problems we have now and over the years have been caused due to the majority of fans not liking Lowe and his decision making. The fans will now never warm to him so I see it as a pointless and yet again damaging situation if he decided to ever get involved again. Surely, not even he is that stupid!

I cant even be bothered to rip into that pathetic attempt at football. There was as much passion on display as a sloth on diazepam. I just hope and pray that someone does buy us and has a complete clear out, players and coaching staff, and I mean a complete clearout.

Just because we may possibly have a billionare buying us, it does not mean to say that he/she would plough all their vast wealth into the club and turn us into another Chelsea. As long as it was enough to give us financial stabilty, build a decent team, enable us to watch entertaining football and get back to the prem would be good enough for me. Even to have the last laugh on the skates would fill my cup full of satisfaction.

Agreed, if they do not apply the -10 pt rule other clubs will be up in arms and others will also be using the loophole in the future. If admin was so close as it is now apparent it was, sfc should have gone for the -10pts before the deadline. A masterstroke it was not, another very bad gamble it was.

They also seemed uninterested in selling the paintings etc to benefit sfc. My question is, how do these paintings benefit the ratepayers?

To be fair, I noticed a few skate comments on the 606 board saying that although there is a hostility between us, they would not like to see us go out of business. Beating us on the pitch is one thing, never having the opportunity again is another.

In comparison to say Birmingham (if they where up for sale) or Wolves etc, we would surely be a cheaper option. Although shares seem to be suspended, does that mean we cannot be sold? I am sure Derby were in an almost identical position but got sold at the last moment.

Agreed, I just find it hard to believe that there is nobody interested or has been interested in buying us especially now when we are going on the cheap.

I am just hoping some white knight will come in and save us ala Derby. Davies and Frost were mentioned on another thread, how much mileage in that one I dont know, I suspect not as I don't believe so called fans of the club would leave it till this late in the day to make a move. But here's hoping in the old silver lining scenario.

Ah but he would not be a localised legend if he had left saints and saints would now be in the conference. Plus, he would have never been a world great (although he deserved to be) as the managers were never prepared to let him free roam on the pitch as proven by several England managers at the time.

Aamazing and typical of saints, they give us 3 games when they looked like they have actually turned the corner and now it seems that they are back at square one. Oh for a season where we did'nt have to fear the drop, not asking too much is it!
