  1. Is there a full house to watch the public execution?
  2. I think he is more upset about the demise of our football club that he helped put on the map don't you!
  3. At least he does'nt have a broken ankle ala Gasmi when we signed him
  4. Charlie Chaplin?
  5. I hardly think that LM stating we need a couple of quality players in the side is an archaic view do you?. Basically sundance, anyone who is anti lowe gets your back up. Perhaps you need to hear the words of le god on ssn today, I suppose you think his views are archaic as well. Our best manager since LM is Strachan do you not agree, proven by your comments regarding the 2003 cup final. Shame that we did not push on from that, but of course, as we all know, Strachan left not long after for his hip operation........................................NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. The same sort of sentiments Lawrie Mac expressed in a interview recently but totally lost by many on here and probably Lowe for that matter. I feel the same MOG along with feeling utterly helpless. I get angered by those who see it as over reacting, bed wetting, its only football, get a life, etc etc, they forget that for many of us it has been a big factor in our lives since when we could barely walk. I am nearly 52 and started watching and supporting saints at the age of 6 when I use to go to the choco box and stand on a beer crate to watch the games. I have seen it all at sfc, good and bad, but I cannot remember feeling as low as this as far as saints are concerned. Unfortunately that feeling of pure frustration and depression seems to cross over into other parts of your life as well. I firmly believe that a feel good factor is generated throughout a town or city if the local team is doing well as was proven by the 76 fa cup win. The only thing I can offer to cheer you up is, your not the only one. Btw, was it a good port as I too have a weakness for the stuff!
  7. I am not sure if I want to witness a public execution!
  8. Lawrie McMenemy's red and white army!
  9. A great read. What LM said makes perfect sense. Do we have any violinist's in our squad now?
  10. Thanks TT and Ron, And thanks for the memories.
  11. Really struggling with putting a saints side together for this one or any other game for that matter, we are lacking in every department except perhaps in goal, and that even depends on whether Davis is on the way out or not. Lets face it, this going to be purely damage limitation as other posters have pointed out above.
  12. Looks useful if he can stay fit, seems to have the touch of Bale about him. Hopefully as St Landrew points outs, Skacel will move up to left midfield which is his best position.
  13. If only that were true! Happy New Year all saints fans, god we need it.
  14. Good points made and well said.
  15. You may be correct in as much as there is a lot of hysteria going on as to what fans will and will not do as a protest, but believe me, it will be shown by declining gates if things do not improve, as is already happening. Get the Man U mauling out the way and then smell the roses. As for looking for scapegoats, erm, should not the board perhaps set a better example than they have. If the board behave like fecking idiots with all their in fighting and power struggles, how can you expect the fans to behave any different. This club is in total disharmony from the board down to the fans, many fans maybe bed wetters as you call it, but this is only born through a feeling of pure frustration. But leave the situation as it is, unchecked and unrepaired, then I believe fans will really start to let their frustations out on the club. It has not happened yet, but it will happen.
  16. You fed us lies and bull**** in your manifesto. You brought in the non execs who created all sorts of carnage.. You walked out on sfc. You teamed up with the devil himself, you know, the one you originally ousted. You did not attend the all important AGM. Have you not done enough damage already. If you have one ounce of dignity left, use it to rid us of Lowe once and for all, and then please kindly close the door after you have gone.
  17. Don't look round, but that guy behind us is the stalker I was on about.
  18. excellent!
  19. Get over it, thats forums for you.
  20. Here's the rub, In the likelyhood that we sell Surman and Lallana, there is no guarantee that any of the funds will be used to replace these players, and if we do, in order to keep hold of some of the proceeds to aid our financial woes, only a proportion of the sell will be made available. This in affect means that what we buy in will not be as good as what we sold. Outcome? Even worse than we are now!
  21. He will struggle to get back in the side, he is no better than what we already have. Oh god I'm depressed!
  22. Cannot see any other sort of result. Saints 0 Reading 3
  23. I am stunned by this! Come on guys, wise old Hopkins seems to think that we have to accept we are ****e, we have a ****e team and ****e finances and there is nothing we can do. Don't blame Lowe as it is nothing to do with him or the manager. Ok mate, will do, you are obviously so right, by the way, whilst you are at it, pass me another pile of poo to eat will you.
  24. Stating the bleedin obvious comes to mind.
  25. So what did you expect Crouch to do, sit there and listen to Lowe blame him for everything that has gone wrong with saints. What did you expect LM to do, sit there an except that the greatest moment in saints history comemorated by a picture on the wall be wiped away soley because of Lowes dislike for him. I think Lowe was let of lightly to be honest, especially when he has now teamed up with Wilde who was responsible for putting the non execs in place who were the guys actually responsible for our present financial state. Its now all a big fecking mess and Lowe is still there prodding raw nerves and yet you blame Crouch and LM for reacting. Jeese!
