  1. To be fair, the Duck Rape part of the title made me think twice about looking in, now I have I'm off.
  2. Oh Religious argument now, normal hyenas on here I see circling their prey.
  3. Sorry for your loss duck, I have lost a member of the family too, never nice at any time but this virus is cutting life short at will which makes it even more difficult to deal with.
  4. I understand that the need for protective clothing is unprecedented but it was unprecedented in other countries a good few weeks before the virus came here and all it needed was to start preparing and making these things in numbers then.
  5. Holt and Haskell’s for me as I worked there as a kid.
  6. The Waterfront pub not far from St Mary's, was great for live music in the 80's, Tokyo Joe, White Lies, The Strawberries, Kuba, Emotional Blackmail, Fresh etc.
  7. The city centre parks use to be great for conkering. Margherita’s Pizza restaurant in its early days near the Gaumont, great food and brilliant atmosphere. The park near the pier watching the massive ships come in and go out. Kingsland market in St Marys. The swimming bars and barely being able to see after an hour or so due to the chlorine. Warming up in the warm water foot pools on the way back to the changing rooms and getting a verruca. Trying to bike ride up Lances hill. The smell of liniment when saints came onto the pitch at the Dell. Seeing human turds floating in the water at Weston shore whilst crabbing. Going on the Hythe ferry for a day out. Just a few of many silly little things I remember from time to time.
  8. Too much DIY to do as commanded by her who has to be obeyed.
  9. Football next season will be a different ball game.
  10. Yeh definitely a few blows too many.
  11. I wonder if vegans have been aware of this.
  12. When you think of it, life is just a sh*t, especially when you support a team called saints. Ah, I think I'll have another dose of Life of Brian to cheer me up.
  13. Keep strong, I'm in the same boat as you, I have been trying to get over prostate cancer for the last 4 years and still not in the clear so I suppose I am in the vulnerable list. It's scary that's for sure but there's plenty of saints losses in us yet to witness as long as we can keep as positive as possible. Stay safe.
  14. Disagreed with my own comment after consideration, please ignore.
  15. Has Soggy been run out of town?, nice to see we are all coming together at a time of crisis eh.
  16. On reflection it probably is odd but just rangled me for some reason.
  17. When the clip came on in the news it infuriated me. When people are dying and sick, jobs are being lost and the economy going down the pan the last thing I want to see is a couple of millionaires dancing up some steps. In adversity people holed up in apartments community singing on their balconies to raise moral now that is uplifting, or the old granny swearing and cussing the idiots panic buying I get.
  18. I think the chances of banks being a bit understanding is unlikely despite all their claims and sound bytes. Plus, many people rent, are landlords going to be as understanding?. It is a dilemma because there are not many in this day and age that can survive on £90 odd quid a week let alone the time and red tape to get to that point. Perhaps the herd process will end up being the only way to go.
  19. I agree but I can see a lot of people having the same mind set. God knows the outcome if that is a popular view.
  20. I know a few people who have said that if the case arises that they are told to self isolate they won’t because they cannot afford to even if someone in their household has it. I suspect this thought process is not uncommon.
  21. Another question is, have some of us already had it and not known?
  22. I notice that TV revenue was down markedly as less games were covered, not a big surprise considering the crud we have served up over the last 4 years.

Conversely we do not know or have the ability to play teams who play it tight and counter attack, when we play away we normally face a more open game.
  24. Really!!!
  25. Perhaps people are misunderstanding the term ‘ Deep Cleaning’.
