The impending Liverpool game reminds me of the days leading up to taking my old sick dog to the vets to be put down.

Optimism is fine, it's your continuous jibes at posters who tick differently to you. Some of us tend to lose our appetite when the same old sh*te is dished up regularly, you on the other hand can stomach it, good for you.

Your just as tedious to be fair. It's not just this game today, it's a continuation of what's been dished up over the last few seasons. How refreshing it would have been to start the season on an up but saints never fail to disappoint.

Had us down to lose so not surprised. I understand the policy of signing youth but my god we will be placing alot of pressure on a 20 year old to improve our pathetic defence, a big big mistake imho. We have sadly yet again neglected a shambolic defence, I would have much preffered an experienced CB, and before anyone says that there are none about, we have needed a decent CB for 2 years now, enough time to find one better than the dross we have.

They better hurry up, I'm just about to kick the chair away from underneath Cabbage.

As every transfer window comes and goes a little bit more of my love for the game dies. Not just because more often than not it ends in disappointment for us Saints fans, but it just emphasises the ludicrous amount of money in the game and as long as your club has enough of it you are almost guaranteed a relatively good season. Players turning up for training in their Bentleys, new signings holding up their new clubs shirt and coming out with the same old dribble, headphones, clutch bags and attutude. The beautiful game has turned very ugly.

Just more proof of how much money Les was responsible for losing by paying exorbitant fees for utter dross which we now cannot even give away.

Really!, he looked great when he first arrived but went off the boil and has stayed there. I certainly have never seen anything to suggest he could single handedly dominate a match. Agree he has ability but he has fallen well short of his potential, best to ofload whilst there is interest.
