I think your desperation for a decent midfielder is clouding your judgment/memory.

I'm a little frustrated that Ralph doesn't pick the obvious lineup from the off. If Boufal and Djenepo were playing from the start it would make the opposition think twice about attacking so hard and leaving their defence exposed. Perhaps this would also give our dodgy defence a bit more respite and allow them to organise a bit more instead on running about like rabbits in the headlights everytime the other side attacks.

Stick with the reliance of Ings, Vest, Rom and we will struggle to stay up. Get the new guys in asap and change things a little, with the extra pace it might well spark us into action, perhaps enough to get us to a more comfortable league position. As it is atm I am struggling to see where we will get our first win from, Liverpool was better but far from good enough.

To be fair there is an element of truth in what he said.

I was referring to violent conduct.

What's the punishment if you are caught knocking one out in the toilets?.

God I hope not.

The thought of that painted a very funny picture in my head, replacing girl with an opposition attacker and Benny Hill as one of our defenders. Sadly sums it up.

Does it really matter who's in goal for Liverpool, I mean, come on, the other 10 players they have are just going to rip us apart and their keeper will rarely touch the ball. BTW, I'm trying to temp fate, it's the only option.

Chelsea at home

The fact the no one has seen him play is a concern in itself, but I suppose there's only one way of finding out. Good luck to him if he gets the nod.

When the damage is already done.

The impending Liverpool game reminds me of the days leading up to taking my old sick dog to the vets to be put down.
-
I love you long time.
-
Both teams had wind, unfortunately ours was followed by sh*te.
-
Optimism is fine, it's your continuous jibes at posters who tick differently to you. Some of us tend to lose our appetite when the same old sh*te is dished up regularly, you on the other hand can stomach it, good for you.
-
Your just as tedious to be fair. It's not just this game today, it's a continuation of what's been dished up over the last few seasons. How refreshing it would have been to start the season on an up but saints never fail to disappoint.

Had us down to lose so not surprised. I understand the policy of signing youth but my god we will be placing alot of pressure on a 20 year old to improve our pathetic defence, a big big mistake imho. We have sadly yet again neglected a shambolic defence, I would have much preffered an experienced CB, and before anyone says that there are none about, we have needed a decent CB for 2 years now, enough time to find one better than the dross we have.

They better hurry up, I'm just about to kick the chair away from underneath Cabbage.

Find a rope for the Cabbage.

As every transfer window comes and goes a little bit more of my love for the game dies. Not just because more often than not it ends in disappointment for us Saints fans, but it just emphasises the ludicrous amount of money in the game and as long as your club has enough of it you are almost guaranteed a relatively good season. Players turning up for training in their Bentleys, new signings holding up their new clubs shirt and coming out with the same old dribble, headphones, clutch bags and attutude. The beautiful game has turned very ugly.
