  1. Just been on the Derby forums. They are trading carefully with little investment and think it unfair clubs can overspend, take a 10point hit and carry on.... http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/topic/8613-nigel-saying-10-point-deduction-not-enough-for-administration/
  2. We sit opposite the tunnel, and he was dancing his way down the tunnel after being last off the pitch.
  3. "Kitson sent off for a professional foul." Erm - he's not being paid, so like all the other Skates (apart from Thorne) he's currently under contract as an amateur.
  4. Just enjoying goal of the season from Lallana when up pops Tadanari - awesome !
  5. Therein lies the problem. Pompey's wage structure after the last admin being too high and tempting players who other clubs would offer and pay less to. Cheats
  6. The other point Durham makes is if the club were in trouble at the start of January then they should have sold their big earners during January, like any other club would have done, rather than cheat. That is why Armpit etc are negligent and the points deduction total should reflect this.
  7. Leyton Orient director now on Talksh*te considers Pompey should be relegated. It's not only us PTS folk watching the next FL decision.
  8. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/lampitt_sees_his_future_at_fratton_1_3535891 Is this the best quote ever: 'I absolutely see my long-term future being with Portsmouth Football Club, to get the club to where we are today after what happened in 2010 and with everything that has been going on in the background recently is quite an achievement.’ Erm Mr Armpit, you have been nothing other than a disaster to date .
  9. Ooerr - Seems Penny is challenging AA as administrator !!?? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/challenge_to_andronikou_as_pompey_administrator_1_3531718
  10. Pompey's glory years were when they were able to call upon locally based military /national service players. Apart from that era, the 1950s, they bought the FA Cup a few years ago. That is all. Since 1960 they have spent most of their time in the lower divisions, hence no great fan base, just 14,500 fanatics.
  11. With regards to points deductions, I believe we lost 10 points in the championship after going into admin, and started the next season in div 1 on -10 coming out of admin. It is the second -10 that will probably be increased for the Skates, a la Bournemouth, Luton etc. That is if they were ever able to find someone to take them out of admin
  12. Even the Snooze have caught up: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey_set_to_apply_for_administration_1_3517660?commentspage=0 I dont understand who would be prepared to fund administration if as mentioned all PPs go on existing cashflow. Presumably the application could be rejected (?)
  13. If they do get £2.5m PPs I would expect that will be the funding required for the period of administration.
  14. This was in 2005, when the north wins blew the water off the lake onto the south side. We travelled down fro Chatel to the airport that morning. More images here: http://www.pbase.com/scherrer/january_2005_ice_storm or google search "Geneva ice storm " for more.
  15. Great to have a player causing problems in the six yard box. Lambert touch was immaculate throughout,Cork and Spiderman awesome and Jos and Jose quality. NA wont say it but that is our best XI at the moment, with a great bench full of impact players -Punch, Chung and Connolly. Brilliant afternoon, just thawing out !
  16. Just voted, but he's miles behind !!
  17. The statement from once bitterne was last time around, nothing on the Skates website news page !
  18. So Penny has brokered a meeting between AA/BC and HMRC, that is hardly going to save the club.
  19. Who has a meeting with HMRC though - BC, AA , the MP, DL, Westwood ? Who is PFC?
  20. So who is pfc - BC, AA , DL or the good lady herself ? It will be intersesting to see who will be representing them at this supposed meeting.
  21. I would guess that, like me, previous posters are bitter because, after 20 odd games in charge he managed to get a relatively competent Saints team relegated, bringing in players like Davenport; his 20 minutes of fitness son;and the left back/wandering into central midfield Olivier Bernard and thus starting a five year downward spiral.
  22. .... and of course once they've paid the players, the tax bill / debt hikes up by another increment of £800k.....
  23. Never heard NA so hacked off. Chin up Nigel, you learn more from a defeat ! (He confirmed Reeves goal was onside)
  24. "The mystery is why this dispute is being heard by a criminal court and not a tax tribunal" and unless we are told something after the verdict is delivered , we still will be none the wiser.
