Looking at the situation as of now, after the Boro loss by a single goal, if West Ham win at Leicester by a single goal then they still need to get a further four against Hull to overhaul us if we DRAW against Coventry, due to us having more goals. Or other variations on their goals totalling 5 more than us, against Leicester / Hull. That is why I am surprised both as to why we didnt play a little more cautiously against Boro and why some on here are going into meltdown.

If we dont beat a team already relegated to Div 1, then our team is clearly not yet good enough for the Premiership. We've had some good last days - recently v Everton and Sheffield United immediately spring to mind. COYR, one more massive effort.

The OP has hit on a new brand advertisement campaign- "Imodium - control the controllables ".

For those in any doubt regarding Nigelisms try this from the official site , it's full of them: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2742373,00.html Then the next article refers to our old fried Sun Tzu again: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2740967,00.html (9th Paragraph) I hope these are from the great man and Sibley is not extracting the michael.

Kingsland Red replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Must be possible - Boro managed a 0-0 draw at home to Donny tonight ! -
NA has lifted the whole club with his positive attitude (and interview) once again. Another fantastic response. COYR, one more point !

Top 5 reasons not to give a f*ck if we go up or not
Kingsland Red replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
For what it's worth I will watch Saints whatever division we are in and have no interest in any other professional club. However it is evident that we already have 'supporters ' around us in the Kingsland since Christmas who quickly get on the players backs. They either have short memories or weren't at games in Div 1. Dare I suggest it is the armchair supporter who will want us to go up as they will be able to see us on TV more often ? -
Why would anyone marry the Football League ?

My father flew them in North Africa and Malta in WW2. I went up on the roof of Great Ormond Street Hospital when about eight flew very low and in formation over London on 8th May 1985 ( VE Day 40th anniversary) That Merlin engine overhead is always a spine tingling moment.

Together as one, except on TSW with the keyboard blame culture. Yes it was not our best night but we lost to the best team currently in our league. Eve the BBC match report stated no other team could keep up with us if we play like we did : "But Nigel Adkins' side can take huge credit for the way they played and if they perform like they did tonight in each of their final three games there will not be a team that can live with them". 59% possession and numerous chances.

Recently he has released the ball too early when in a good central position. I would like to see him travel for a further ten yards with the ball , attacking the centre backs and get a shot away, from closer; go around the keeper; or get a penalty. He's easily got the ability to do this. Instead he is always looking to pass to a person in a worse position than him, ie. wider.

Walking around the stadium in a suit with a camera man before the game - bizarre !

My favourite item is 5.7 - the remaining payments beyond the end of the season, left on the players contracts, totals £14m !!!

Great quote from Mr Madejski about the potential new owners at Reading: "The good thing about them is they are going to keep the club the same," added Madejski. "They want to keep the same ethos, they won't go throwing money about like drunken sailors, we've got such a great atmosphere and it will be tragic to see that change." mmm - drunken sailors, I wonder if he is referring to our fishy friends? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17664456

Top of the league and we're having a laugh, hardly - everyone's moaning. A newly promoted team, we have had a tremendous season and are the first team in the play offs. Now on to automatic promotion. COYR

In Kingsland Centre we spent the most important point of the match getting up and down from our seats to allow the fire drill to be a success. The timing of the chant was perfect, hence the OP. Plastics because the tension with ten minutes to go was lost on those leaving.

As NA briefly mentined Sun Tzu again in his interview yesterday, I did a bit of research and found a load of info on the man. Although it is Wiki, this is the best brief outline of him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Tzu His most obvious quote which explains NA's comprehensive research and knowledge of our next opponents, and the key to our success is : "It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle". Sun Tzu and NA , I salute you !

Spiderman ran the game, along with Cork

We only play once before we play the Sk*tes and should have a better idea of what we are up against: Peterborough v WHU WHU v Reading Blackpool v Saints Reading v Leeds Barnsley v WHU Could be a lot tighter by then.
-
Maybe I've been watching Saints too long and, probably wrongly under NA, still don't trust the team to see out the game. Nerves are there until the final whistle I'm afraid, I couldn't leave any earlier, hence my 'plastics' comment on the OP.
-
Loved it, and got a chuckle when I told those plastics around us leaving at 85 minutes that there wasn't really one.
