Very bizarre, he states they dont have to pay HMRC until the bill is due on 20th February. Who told him that - AA or DL ? They could get a few players in before then. Ignorance is bliss down the road !
-
In Alabama though. Are you JoCa in disguise !

Does anybody make any money on Portsea Island ? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/local/east-hampshire/redknapp_lost_6m_in_southsea_property_venture_1_3464202

Isn't 'Malcolm' Rosie Redknapp's accountant ? I love the way the whole staunch legal procedures and dignity appears to have been overridden by the ramblings of a Ronnie Corbett style story of self derision from 'Arry. Poetry in motion Gerry.

.....Apart from the account in Florida which he transferred the monies to from Monaco. And who knows from there he could personally deliver it to the Bahamas.

Redknapp told police "I paid a million quid in tax last year" Police to Redknapp: "It's not a gift is it though?" R: "I don't know, what is it then?" What a geezer, kindly donating £1,000,000 to the HMRC UK charity last year. (which suggests he earns c£2.5m pa (gross) at Spurs)

As my name suggests , have only had season tickets in the same seats since St Marys opened.

This is 5 pages on its own, the JoCa is back !! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/campaigns/passion-for-portsmouth/news/cala_claims_he_s_investigating_second_pompey_bid_1_3454857

If true, a strange move as he adds yet more to the repayment schedule of any prospective owner.

Supporters Trust to find 1.8m for the HMRC (Excluding the monies owed to Chanrai, Gaydamak , CSI admin etc) - thats only £9 from each of the 200,000 on Southsea Common, or £128.57 from each of the 14,000 regulars. If they put their money where their mouth is, they could keep going for another couple of months and then do it all again, maybe by a direct debit scheme. Hold on , they haven't got a bank account.
-
If the club bank account(s) has been frozen , the only way they have the funds to pay players at the end of the month, as indicated by AA ,is brown paper bags loaded from cash gained at any home matches. From previous calculations this is not sufficient.

For what it's worth I think we have been swept along on the bus since NA arrived and are currently sitting ducks in a position above the squad's ability. (not the first XI but the squad). Teams like Leicester, Hull and Blackpool all have 5 or 6 players from the second tier of the premiership who put in a shift. We will get back to being like that but need to build up. Teams are seeing how we are set up and are dealing with it. Then our team struggles with Plan B. Were we to get promoted we would have to be ruthless in the summer with players coming in and out. Were we to miss out, we can build a team as part of the five year plan. Good times !

Not a list of winding up orders, almost 300 pages of them !

So £800k is say 40% of the staff wages, as higher rate taxpayers, and including NI for the purposes of this ball park exercise. Therefore the monthly wage bill is c£2m. However, no major repayments from the new club have yet to be paid to service previous debts ( the first due in April.) Conclusion - a large city like Pompey is way out of it's depth attempting to field a football team at the championship level. QED

If JoCa has seen the books etc and as we know, has been in regular communication with Rory McKeown, then I think it is fair to assume Rory has been advised by JoCa of details of the short term financial predicament. I'm sure JoCa has no real interest in confidentiality agreements in a country he has probably never been to.

The News has caught up: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/cala_withdraws_his_bid_to_buy_pompey_1_3442323

Ah, 'Mystery bidders pulled off the street as JoCa spends the weekend looking for some money' headline. Hang on in there Old Nick !

Why would Bad Company want to put good money into JoCa's sinking funds ?

I was going to post the link. It appears to be JoCa or bust, that's either a very long PTS thread or the end folks.

He's a legend, but would you want him touching your bottom?

This. And the thing was we were on a positive run, one of the few times I knew we'd win. -

Great video, forgotten all about Draper, and whatever happened to the wobbly man on the front row of the Northam? -
So am I now, maybe they've pulled it, it appeared as a p*ss take !

For what it's worth found on The News Ethuhu thread: "major raver Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:22 AM Morning all, I always said I wouldn't give the names of the group interested in the club, but found out this morning that the deal crashed beyond repair on Tuesday. Getting a price for the club wasn't so much of a problem, but Fratton Park and land became a nightmare, group didn't want to be held to ransom further down the line. Person fronting was a guy called Fritz Scherer, who was doing so on behalf of the club he is a board member of. I was told that things don't look good now. PUP". The guy is apparently something to do with Bayern Munich.
-
As the word is spreading I cannot believe JoCa is not a well played out hoax, the amusement this guy is creating. I reckon someone is having a little sport at our rivals expense, unless JoCa is a fall guy for Chanrai, fueling the life support machine until the parachute payments fall into Chinny's lap.

Ah, yesterday The News, today The Torygraph. Word is spreading beyond this thread ! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...outh-deal.html
