  1. But then if they don't move the away fans, we won't ever get access to the North Car Park ever again. Perish the thought...
  2. By some curious co-incidence I was in Block L seat 24
  3. What block were you in? There were three or four Saints fans at least in Blocks L and M
  4. According to the Yeovil fan sat a couple of seats down, he spoke to a copper whom reportedly said "we're expecting trouble from this lot if Yeovil win this late..." Before the game, it was very friendly banter outside the Arrow as we walked to the ground, as a large number of fans were there sat on the grassy areas outside and around it. No signs whatsoever of any trouble or disorder.
  5. I was sat in the Cowlin, and the incident happened on the far touchline. From where I was sat it definitely looked as though another defender was nearby, however the trajectory of my view (right on the front row) didn't help! He could have miles away in reality! Did see the animated discussion though post incident, it appeared that someone was sent from the touchline possibly Wilkins? Local radio really lambasted the referee's performance, stating the Fonte challenge and also the missed penalty decision? I don't remember it (and that is an honest answer!)
  6. Please forgive me if I am stepping on anyone's toes by creating this thread... Just arrived back at my temporary home from the game - pheewwwwwwwww! First half, for the opening 30 minutes was all Saints, just no end product. Yeovil came into it for the last 15 minutes and were very unfortunate not to go 1 up at the break. Once again, the right side looked very shaky with Otsemobor having a poor game by his standards. Once his main attribute pace is matched equally by the winger he's facing, he's always going to struggle. Puncheon looked lively, and Lallana stumbled when one-on-one, but tried a scorpion kick to get it in. Second half Saints again started strongly with some good chances but faded somewhat as Yeovil then looked more likely to break the deadlock. I did not see Schneiderlin's offence, but those around me suggested he raised his hands? Very strange to see Waigo at right back/wing back, his first cross almost went out the ground, his third however... brilliant. Connolly coming on really gave the forward line some spark, allowing Lambert to float behind. The away support was fantastic from where I was sat close to the halfway line. Post match there is still lots of police around, with panda cars parked in all the local streets post match (Sat in a house 2 mins from the Arrow). There were a few away fans in with the home support that momentarily forgot who they were supposed to be supporting... Yeovil did deserve a point no question, but the knack of a good side is taking three. Home fans perspective, should Fonte have gone? My opinion is No. There was a defender level with him when he committed the offence...
  7. Just have to concentrate on getting 6 points this week - no margin for error now from a Saints perspective. Get the gap down to five points by the time we play Carlisle, and it suddenly doesn't look as comfortable for Huddersfield, although admittedly they have one foot in the playoffs now. Two words though - Cardiff City. Remember what happened to them last season...
  8. Grrrrrrr! 1-0.
  9. Jordan Rhodes misses a fab chance!
  10. Quite amusing that the commentator thought it was in too
  11. 29 mins gone, and Huddersfield winger Gary Roberts has fallen over twice very theoretically. No instances of Trotmanned yet on the Millwall players, but one 50p-head headed clearance!
  12. What about the Torpedo, Arias(?). Did he ever play?
  13. Always likened KJ's ball control to bouncing on a trampoline - you could go miles up in the air
  14. Row FF for us Block 10ers here
  15. Bought 5 tickets yesterday online and they arrived this morning (block 7) - very efficient
  16. The attendance for Yeovil Millwall was just over 4k, under 50% of the capacity. I doubt they'll sell out, probably looking at around 6-7k, but whether they'll sell tickets before kick-off is open to question.
  17. What the hell was doing for his goal, he left his flank wide open!

    Walsall

The way Millwall celebrated the equalisier you'd think they won the league - it was a BIG point for them and perhaps a kick in the backside they needed to re-focus. Look at Swindon - lost 3-0 and drew 1-1 in the past week and fell from 2nd to 5th in the process.
  19. I went to see Yeovil almost grab a win against Millwall last night - key points from the game that may be of interest for Saturday... Pitch. Looked in very good shape - the occasional bald spot but nothing at all to worry about. It was also watered at half time with those pop-up sprinklers, obviously to the Millwall subs' surprise. Stadium You are very close to the pitch. The seating Millwall fans were located in Blocks PP and P of the Cowlin stand. Block N is next to the black sheeting that provides the segegration, but appears to have a few season ticket holders on the end of the rows, perhaps to be expected. Yeovil Played 4-4-1-1 on the night. Appear to concentrate its attacks down the left with a long throw threat very potent on that side from their pacey full back. They worked themselves into some decent positions last night but lacked the killer ball. Danger players Gavin Williams plays in the 'hole' and is arguably their playmaker and best player, certainly in terms of running with the ball. Central midfielder JP Kalala and the aforementioned left side threat, Nathan Smith and Andy Welsh should also be watched. Dean Bowditch took his goal well, but was sometimes left isolated up front. Verdict Before last night's result filtered though I thought that if Saints go behind, it may prove difficult to get back and win. However as long as they are not over-confident they have a good chance of victory, but Yeovil can and will bite. Millwall had a lot of the play and the chances last night but just couldn't get the decisive opener. Yeovil did and then had something to hang onto, preferring to concentrate further goal threats on the break. They nearly managed it too - Millwall's equaliser was scored by Jon Obika, ex-Yeovil loanee who didn't celebrate. There was a small pitch invasion which led to the stewards, local plod and the Met Police trying to get the fans off. The Millwall keeper didn't help, celebrating and then hugging some of the fans that came on!
  20. ..and be quick about trying, Yeovil may (and probably will) introduce restrictions on buying tickets, to people already on its database if they reside outside their local postcodes (BA, SP, BH, DT, EX, TA)... I believe the away fans will be sat in the Cowlin stand, Block PP (and possibly P)...
  21. Didn't he have a good long throw on him when at Saints? If so, Spurs don't appear to use it
  22. about 2 miles or so, accessible by an awful winding road that I wouldn't recommend walking on... Bus or taxi I think would be the safest means of getting to the town.
  23. If Saints hadn't had the 10 point deduction, we would be now eight points behind 2nd with a game in hand... Next season will be the one to judge AP, with a full pre-season and transfer window to wheel and deal available. 6th would be fantastic of course next month however!
  24. Look further up, we would be 8 points off 2nd as well with a game in hand.... Ironic
  25. I may be going to see Yeovil play Millwall on Tuesday so I will scout the surface in preparation for Saturday!
