I think Puncheon will be the main man for corners when he returns to the team. Unless Lallana gets some decent practice in this week

The Sky site reports 1330hrs kick-off. The live programme begins at 1300hrs.
-
Go for it! He was wearing shorts with No.41 on during the Exeter warmup

If Connolly's doesn't get the overall vote, I am hoping that Andy Williams' goal for Bristol Rovers against us does well. It was going in from the moment it left his foot, a brilliant strike. That said, Connolly it is

Seaborne was shouting at Mills throughout the first half to get close to his man, as he got caught out on a few occasions. Puncheon looked good, though he sometimes seemed to get himself one step ahead of the ball, thus losing it. Midfield yet again went missing, or was bypassed.

Getting to the A31/A35 junction in Dorchester can be done in just over an hour 15 on a good day, but the 35 can be a right pig The A303/A30 run has a few stretches of single carriageway which can be slow. I'd rather get there in plenty of time, rather than cutting it fine.

Just received an email from the club stating that the travel club pick-up points have changed... 1045hrs - Winchester 1100hrs - Eastleigh 1130hrs - St marys 1100hrs seems very tight!

How do you think Saints will line up, 4-4-2 or 4-5-1? Personally for 4-4-2 I'd go for Davis Ostemobor Fonte Seaborne Harding Antonio James Schneiderlin Lallana Waigo Lambert or 4-5-1 Davis Ostemobor Fonte Seaborne Harding Waigo Schneiderlin James Puncheon Lallana Lambert.... It'll probably bear no resemblance to the starting XI but there we are...

I think most posters think he won't sign, but hope that he, or someone else will arrive. Should we need any cover desperately later on in the season, we can always use the loan market......
-
I'm sure the FA introduced a rule whereby you have to field at least six first team members, so you couldn't possibly send out a complete youth team. That said, when Fergie/Wenger were lambasted a few years ago about playing youth teams in the League Cup, I'm sure one of them retaliated that these particular players were issued with squad numbers pre-season, so they are in first team contention" JPT goes straight to pens as well, no extra time.

Just realised that you can't see the corner going out of play in the highlights for the first goal - better shhhhhhh! About time we had some luck with a goal going in for us!
-
As the deadline for applications isn't until tomorrow it is probable nothing will be received until Tuesday at the earliest.
-
Can see this finding its way to the lads next week....

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints

Has he been issued with his squad number yet? (I missed his presentation today so do not know if he held up a shirt with his name/number on?). -
I'll be there at st marys, first derby for me.... unlikely to get to any potential replay due to work tho'

Awful for 60 mins. Felt sorry for Barnard going off as no-one was going to score in that first half. The Mills corner that led to the first goal curled out of play before it found its way in the box. Many in our block though the lino had seen it and cancelled the goal, therefore not celebrating but thankfully he was in front of the Kingsland and didn't see it

No 4 or No.41 do we think? -
I wouldn't rule out a bid for Ademeno, tying up the deal now but letting him stay at Crawley until the end of the season perhaps?
-
"Southampton have completed the signing of ________ ________ for an undisclosed fee" Just waiting for it
-
On official site! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Home/ Ademeno, Puncheon, Danns, Tomlin, Stock, Rooney, Dindane? As seen on twitter... http://www.twitter.com/officialsaints

Thanks - it was the e-mail address I used, although I have got another one on file which has been binned
-
can anyone please confirm the ticket office email address please?
-
I took a letter in on 18th January and tried to take another one in today (possible credit card issue). We were stopped in the car park by the on duty steward, who offered to take letter to ticket office. (probably due to me being on crutches and the horrendous queue). One hopes he handed it in I have e-mailed the ticket office via the web-site and David Luker, but have as yet not received a reply... Hopefully we'll get lucky!

Yes, but don't rule out 'news' breaking on Tuesday. The FA will undoubtedly have a shedload of FAXes in its memory bank at 1659hrs, waiting for someone to refill the paper tray Indeed wasn't Jaidi announced the day after the summer transfer window closed?
