I thought it was funny? Really? I suggest you go back and read my post again when you’re not stoned.
-
Wtf are you talking about? Been on the skunk again Duckie? He himself admitted that he had behaved badly towards these women.
-
Why will I be apoplectic over it? Don’t we all agree that sexual assault needs to be dealt with?

I always work on the principe of hope for the best but expert the worst. Helps keep the bed dry at the very least!

Votes should mean something. If there are large numbers of people voting for particular policies then they should have a proportionate voice in parliament. Problems occur when large swathes of people don’t feel that they are being heard. Democracy is meant to be about rule of the people by the people. It’s great if 99.9% in agreement but the closer you get to 51/49% the less it conforms to the people’s collective will. There is no perfect system but at least PR gives a proportional balance in the House to the views of the electorate. I have always lived in strong Tory areas and my vote means nothing whether I vote tactically or vote for my party of choice. It is little wonder that so many people don’t bother to go to the polls. Maybe more would make the effort if they thought that their vote would actually make a difference?

Neither of them offer anything going forward though. Although he hasn’t been the same threat as he used to be, at least he supports attacks down the left hand side. Most of our goals are conceded down the right flank.

They are both the same after 38 games.

All being well everyone will be 100% fit and will bring in a bit more strength in depth in the summer There is no reason that we can’t have a half decent season next year.
-
But to have sacked him would have been a huge mistake as he would have turned things around spectacularly in the second half of the season! It’s all about perspective.
-
Sad news. As others have said, he came him with great expectations as he was our first million pound player but for whatever reason never lived up to those expectations with us. Did well elsewhere though and for the Republic of Ireland. RIP

Couldn’t agree more. No one watches football for the referee....apart from Duckie perhaps?
-
I don’t think that there is much between them so it makes sense to give them both game time for the remainder of the season to give them both a chance to stake a claim for the no. 1 slot next season. Good to see the big man back in contention although I’m not sure how you pick between them as I don’t think that one is hugely better than the other.

Or the one that saw us beat Liverpool 1-0? Or the one that saw us beat City 1-0? If only we had a plan B eh?
-
Slowest three defenders in the EPL. Vardy must be licking his lips.
-
He is doing well in Argentina at the moment though.
-
I think it means that he won’t be fit enough to play in the remaining games of the season. I don’t think it is code for anything.

Thoroughly deserved. As we know the guy was a superb footballer and this honour is about his footballing ability and not his views on Covid. Compare him to OJ Simpson if he commits serious crimes. Being a twat isn’t in the same ballpark. Paul Gascoigne has frequently behaved like a twat but most of us will remember him for his performances on a football pitch. It is entirely possible to admire and honour MLT for his sporting prowess whilst completely finding his views on Covid abhorrent. If I wanted advice on how to take a penalty the first person I would listen to is MLT. If I wanted advice on how to deal with a deadly pandemic the last person I would listen to is MLT.
-
I don’t know what a person’s political view or opinion on the handling of a pandemic has to do with his ability to kick a football. What ever his opinion on the Covid situation, his footballing ability is beyond question. That is what we are talking about here and that is what he should be judged by.

So do you think that we need more than two players for every position?
-
Nancy boys? The 1970’s called and want their homophobic stereotyping back.
-
But apparently theses are “excuses” and not “reasons” and don’t count. It is blatantly obvious that the first team, when on form, are a match for anyone. The problem is no depth so that long term injuries to several key players have led to below par performances and results. You can throw in our inability to play high tempo for a whole game into the mix. The manager is responsible for dealing with these problems but, as we know, has not been supported in the transfer market. That is hardly his fault. From day 1 he has talked about having two players for every position and we don’t have that (not quality wise anyway). If we are going to progress next year recruitment over the summer is crucial. It doesn’t matter who the manager is, without an injection of quality any manager is going to struggle for a whole season with this bunch.

Duckie, why the childish comments? I don’t see any cults or “fan boys” here, just people who are able to see the bigger picture, something you seem incapable of. The club have stood by him. They know him a lot better than any of us and clearly have faith in his ability. Would you call Selena a fan boy or cultist? There are a number of reasons for our poor second half of the season as well you know. Many of the were beyond Ralph’s control. These are not excuses as you would say, these are reasons. Ralph as also made errors, people can see that. Every manager does. Some lose the faith of their Boards, Ralph, so far, still has a job here because people who are paid to make high level decisions think he is worth persevering with. If it bothers you that much, instead of hurling childish insults around on a football forum, why don’t you take the issue up with the Board?
-
So you think it was down to the Spurs managers tactical nous as Duckie said and not the fact that he has a better squad of players at his disposal?
-
Remind me again about the difference in squads between Saints and Tottenham? You don’t think that perhaps having the likes of Bale and Son might have had something to do with it?
-
What is this “cult of Ralph” of which you speak? 😂 I can only see some people looking at a situation and making reasonable comments rather than just ignoring parts of a scenario which don’t fit an agenda. Ralph has been criticised, quite rightly, for errors made. Some people can also see that he did a very good job for a period of time getting the best out of limited resources. It doesn’t make him the “messiah” just as it doesn’t make him “pony”.
