Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

No, but some mayors are Muslim. What is the world coming to? -
Gazza still makes howlers. I don't think he will make the grade but as said, send him out on loan into the Championship and see how he does.

Good luck, bad luck, good form, poor form. Every team in every division goes through all of this all of the time. It is what makes the league so interesting. To win the FA Cup you only need to maintain good form/good luck over a handful of matches. Over the season you have to do it as much as possible over 38 matches. Leicester deserve their title but were lucky in that the top 4 have not been that great this season and their only real opponents have been Spuds who, to a lesser extent, have had a much better season than expected.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

So then, several days since the elections and no comments about the first Muslim Mayor in London? Well at least Katie Hopkins hasn't let me down. She threatened to run through London naked with a sausage up her backside (a halal one at that) if Sadiq Khan won and is saying she will stand by her pledge. -
Hardly a step up though is it? I would hope that he would only go for CL football.
-
Does three seasons constitute an "era." Anyway, he has been an excellent signing for us. Good luck to him when he moves on and I look forward to seeing his replacement.
-
Apparently Spuds have lost 20 points after being in a winning position this season. Something for the What Ifs to ponder on.
-
Yes we can speculate, just as Arsenal will speculate why they didn't win it. United will speculate. City will speculate. Even Everton and Stoke will be saying that they should have finished higher. The clubs at the bottom will be pointing at matches they feel they should have won. Yes, it could have been us just as it could have been plenty of other teams too who also dropped points at some point. That is what makes the league set up so interesting. It is what you achieve over a period of 38 games that counts and every team below Leicester did not do enough to win it.

If he cant even make the bench at Arsenal why would we want him back?
-
In my lifetime the only club that has gone unbeaten in the Premiership is Arsenal. Every club will have what if moments every season and I remember them clearly when we went down. It is a pointless exercise and gave birth to the phrase "If my aunt had b@lls she would be my uncle." The truth is that we have no idea what would have happened if we had had a different right back or if Shane Long had played in the centre all season. We could have finished with less points as well as more points. In simple terms we are where we are and it has been another decent season. We can bemoan dropped points and wonder what if all day long, it wont change anything. I would rather remember this as another decent season where we have proved that we belong in the top flight and can compete with the best. It wsnt that long ago that we were kicking around in Division One. Here is a what if for you. What if we were still there?
-
Who cares if they do or if they don't? They have blown their best chance of winning the Premiership.
-
Why not get carried away? We turned over Spuds in their own back yard. Id say we have every right to get carried away with a wonderful end of the season run of results!!! And if they want 2nd place and to finish above Arsenal they did need to beat us.
-
I remember the complaints that we hadn't beaten anyone in the top half!!! Special mention to Davo today. Works his socks off and deserves MotM award.
-
But until then, he has won nothing. He wont get a better chance to win the Premiership but was outdone by the mighty Leicester. The big four will be much stronger next season. He wont win the CL so his best chance is winning a cup, but he tends to flunk cups as well.

Virgil van Dijk signs new six-year deal with Saints
sadoldgit replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Don't worry, this news will be forgotten once there is a rumour that another player will be off. The summer meltdown season is only days away! -
Blimey mate, you are hard to please! I thought it was a cracking goal.
-
"Greasy Frank" was a real character. Remember him most for the long ball he played to set up Mark Dennis for the cross from which Danny Wallace score that great goal against Liverpool.
-
I know what you mean, but improbable as it sounds, it was true!

Apart from something just smaller than the Great Wall of China appearing along the Mexican border.

Cant see a player coming to the end of his career and with a giant sized ego not going to a club playing CL football next season. He also has an Osvaldo type character. Still, on the plus side he has been accused of stamping on Lovren's head so he cant be all bad.
