  1. We are all in this together, apart from those who want to avoid paying taxes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c8rl4pl3n75t
  2. Whatever you think of Martin and his tactics, I don’t think you can say that someone getting a club promoted to the EPL has underachieved. When he joined us his brief was to get us promoted and he achieved that.

    Elon Musk

He has a role in Trump’s government. This is different to a lobby group. https://amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/nov/13/elon-musk-donald-trump-us-politics (Musk lover too hypo? It figures. You do seem to align yourself with these people)

    Elon Musk

It can’t be right that an a member of a governing organisation also owns a massive social media platform.
  5. There was a perfect example of what Starmer is up against on Questuon Time last week. Tim Stanley from The Telegraph told us that the media is “overwhelmingly left wing” and was not challenged on his ridiculous statement by Fiona Bruce. The Telegraph have gradually sunk to the levels of the Mail and it is a sign of the times that such statements go unchallenged in main stream media nowadays.
  6. Just to quote the bleedin’ obvious, the failings have occurred because the UK left the EU, not vice versa. It might be tedious to you that Brexit gets blamed but it gets blamed because that is where the blame lies. We went into this without a plan, spent years trying to formulate a plan and then cobbled together a crap plan that has adversely affected the economy of the UK. Tedious? I would say disastrous.

A long overdue decision probably prompted by the imminent arrival of Trump to the White House. Ukraine shouldn’t have to defend themselves under such constrictions. I don’t know if it was Zelensky who said this, but they need to go after the archers, not the arrows.
  8. Not a good start https://kyivindependent.com/musk-mocks-zelensky/ Interesting that Musk used a laughing emoji in his post. Another cretin who uses them inappropriately.
  9. Now he’s just having a laugh https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/11/16/politics/chris-wright-energy-secretary-trump
  10. Birds of a feather https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgl48r2wnx1o.amp What is up with Gaetz’s face? He looks like he has OD’d on Botox.
  11. Authentic? WTF? 😂 Have you actually listened to some of the gibberish he has spouted during the recent campaign? He is authentic ok, an authentic sex offender, liar, grifter and self promoter.
  12. Another example of incompetence and mismanagement from the previous government that Labour are going to have to sort out. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/home-office-national-audit-office-campaigners-government-geoffrey-cliftonbrown-b1194191.html

    Absolutely no surprise here. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgk18pdnxmmo.amp
  14. He has been playing very well this season and Sheffield Weds fans are concerned that we might recall him in January.

    Israel

It has been said many times in this thread, but if you dare criticise Netanyahu, his government or the IDF, you are immediately accused of anti-semitism. Netanyahu has been playing the anti-Semitic card against the UN for years whilst happily breaking international law. Putin invades another country and gets hit with sanctions. Netanyahu ethnic cleanses Palestinians and the US and the UK continue to provide him with the military means to continue what could well end up being found to be war crimes. He currently is literally getting away with murder.
  16. This sums the man up perfectly. https://www.npr.org/2023/07/13/1187272781/rfk-jr-kennedy-conspiracy-theories-social-media-presidential-campaign And then there is this… https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2j3353vvdvo.amp
  17. Parading around the streets, really? 😂 I seem to remember the right wing media crowing about what a wonderful budget Truss came up with or, metaphorically speaking, parading around the streets. I don’t think the current government or are that incompetent or that much full of themselves but maybe wait until they have been in power for a reasonable amount of time before judging their performance?
  18. Remind us again how concerned you were for the Tories and the nation when Osbourne announced austerity and Liz Truss crashed the economy. Shocking isn’t it that Labour have been in power for 4 months but haven’t managed to turn the country around yet!

You really have not been paying attention have you. Perhaps spend more time on looking at what is actually happening and why that is rather than posting childish laughing emojis on what is a deeply serious subject.
  20. An anti vaxer to lead on Health. Perfect. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Health/wireStory/trump-expected-choose-vaccine-skeptic-robert-kennedy-jr-115876060

This far down the line I am surprised that this needs to be explained (again). I thought that most people understood that of the 43,000 plus people killed so far, most are innocent civilians rather than combatants. This of course excludes people who think that all Palestinians/Muslims are guilty by association and therefore expendable.
  22. This has puzzled me for a while. We used to have appraisal meetings with staff where we discussed perceived strengths and weakness and what could be done to improve any areas of underperformance. You would expect the senior management to sit down with him and talk about performance and what needs to be done to change things. If that has happened and they have all agreed more of the same is the way to go… 😵‍💫
  23. Not that anyone is worried about the future eh? https://www.abc.net.au/religion/trump-reelection-represent-existential-threat-to-democracy/104577966
  24. He previously put his own people into senior positions in the judiciary and now he is looking to replace senior ranks in the military with his own people. The Republicans have control of everything. He is already ensuring that he will be above the law. This is the definition of a dictatorship. It is an autocratic form of government which is characterised by a leader or group of leaders who hold governmental powers with few or no limitations. I know that you have a thing about dictatorial leaders, hence your love in with Thatcher. Your concrete support for Farage, the UK Trump brown noser in chief is also a give away.
  25. If she had any sense she would get some proper professional advice on how to approach PMQs. Sadly for her she is far too arrogant and thinks that she knows best. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/amp/entry/tory-gloom-as-gaffe-prone-kemi-badenoch-endures-another-miserable-pmqs_uk_6734bd2ae4b0958bad3dc4e5/
