We still have a problem with sex in Britain. As has been said on other threads, we seem to be stuck in the Carry On state of mind. Some olduns on here may remember a magazine called Parade? Full of topless woman (you couldn't show a vagina then) but with their nipples blacked out! We all have genitals yet someone we still, in 2015, seem to think there is something "dirty" about them. I don't think they should be shoved in your face at every opportunity but until we as a culture reach some kind of sexual maturity this will always be a problem.

8-0 scorelines.

If a women goes onto the field of play in a cricket or rugby match do the crowd chant get em out? (Apart from Erica Roe of course who had them out from the get go).
-
I respect actresses like Helen Mirren yet she often got naked on screen and stage. I think it depends what the situation is.
-
Yeah, and I still haven't gotten over it!

Yesterday in TalkSport Durham was banging on about Mark Hughes as manager of the year but no mention whatsoever for our Ron. Surely he must be in the running?

Whilst I agree about the word t*ts I don't agree about the chanting. It is clearly discriminatory to chant gets your tits out at a woman. Just as it is to chant at people who are overweight, coloured or whatever. How would you feel if you were the only male at a sporting event full of women and they were chanting get your d*ck out for the girls? (Or perhaps we had better not go there )

Just hope no one does their ankle. Bloody dangerous things ice skates!

England footballer 'arrested over underage sex allegations'

Like Gary Glitter? -
He did, and he got his shot on target which is exactly what people on here have been asking for. Those that know about these things said that even if a shot gets saved there is still a chance of netting rebound which is precisely what happened the another night. Seems that wasn't good enough though because JWP was criticised for his shot.

Must have missed the thread where we all went mental at Yoshida for his poor defensive header that set up West Broms win. I am not saying he had a great game, just that he deserved credit for his part in the goal. I am sure he has a big future with us and we should be supporting our players not knocking them all the time.
-
Koeman was going mental because he had a shot which led to our winning goal?
-
Why not? He had a shot which was spilt and led to the goal.
-
...

Isnt that the point though? He made errors and I am sure others players did too which COULD have led to goals against but didn't. But his movement and shot led to the winning goal. We have been screaming for players to shot. He did and still gets slagged off because it was a "poor" shot.

I cant get my head around why we have to focus on what mistakes our players make. We have had an awesome season, why cant we get behind them ?They have all played their part on what has been an amazing season. Lighten up guys and enjoy.

Spot on Whitey. Players of today have got athletic quality and technical ability but back in the 60s and 70s we had true characters. Players like Mackay could play but they could also run through brick walls. The players of today may think they are tough but back then all players were hard as nails. Even "flair" players like George Best and Rod Marsh would kick lumps out of defenders and trade punches. It was a mans game then. We have a bunch of very talented players now but they really are a bunch of wusses.

He got himself into a very good position and hit the target which led a goal which in turn led to us getting 3 points. What exactly is the problem here?

Isnt this the problem though? many guys feel that it is just a bit of harmless fun or banter as a certain celebrity in the jungle might say. Unless something like this happens to you you have no idea what it feels like. It doesn't happen to blokes in the main so they just think that women over react when they kick off about being fed up at being treated like objects. It is the girls fault that she got raped because she was wearing sexy clothes and was drunk so clearly asking for it. It was the girls fault she got wolf whistled because she is showing he legs and is wearing make up. In many blokes heads they think that the women are dressing or behaving in a certain way as part of the mating ritual. Many women say they don't dress up for men but for themselves and their mates when thet go out because they want to look nice, not because they are looking to get laid. Until men get their heads around the fact that the world does not revolved around their d*cks nothing will change. -
Morgan got this type of abuse when he started playing for us. I bet attitudes would soon change if Liverpool or Tottenham were after him.
