Taken from The Guardian. A Cleveland police officer who stood on the hood of a car and fired his gun 49 times through the windshield at two unarmed passengers has been found not guilty on two counts of voluntary manslaughter after prosecutors failed to prove without reasonable doubt that the bullets fired by officer Brelo were the cause of death. WTF?

Glastonbury has long become part of the mainstream summer events despite all of the Eavis' attempt to remain cool and hippy.

Should we be talking about someone behind his back when he cant defend himself?

It is a bit worrying that our future King believes in that stuff...unless he is a lizard or course!

You'd think that Charles would have enough spare change to fund many of his projects himself!

Proof, if any were needed, that rumours are just that. Rumours. -
Sadly it finished last night but went out on a high. I loved The Sopranos but felt that the ending let it down. Not the case here. Given that most of the cast chained smoked through the series not surprised that one succumbed to lung cancer but also some nice happy endings. Best of all though was the light bulb moment when Don hits on the massive ad for Coca Cola. If you haven't seen it, get the box sets now.

When I used to work for The Guardian there was always tickets for the Garden Party up for grabs as none of the senior management could be bothered to go. I was offered a pair of tickets one year but turned them down. None of the Royals have ever bothered to pitch up at one of my barbeques so sod 'em.

It has red and white stripes, what's not to like? Anything is better than the red abomination of a couple of years back.

What do you call a Frenchman who wears sandals? Phillipe Philop.

If by sensitive ones you mean those who hate it when kids shoot themselves or other kids when loaded guns go off, when innocent people are shot by police, when innocent people get caught in gangland crossfire etc etc.....yes it will upset us sensitive souls because we hate the pathetic waste of human life that guns cause on a daily basis.

Our On-the-Beach mentality is a f**king disgrace
sadoldgit replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
To be fair, Alps is right. Villa out beached us on Saturday and had their towels on the sunbeds the day before the match. We were nowhere near the sand and paid the price with a 6-1 win. Hopefully Ron will put things right on Saturday and Citeh will give us the runaround. -

I was a bit worried. I thought something had happened to Alps. Good to see it is business as usual. -
Bearsy because he always makes me laugh. Pap because I like a good conspiracy theory - although I am stuffed for them now.

If Robson Green is the answer, wtf is the question?

It is more the fact that an old established Party like the LibDems have been virtually wiped off of the political map.

Scotland didn't vote against devolution? My point was I was surprised at how many seats the SNP hoovered up given that Scotland voted against devolution.
-
Farage made that point this morning. Electoral reform is long overdue.

There were some very big swings to the SNP in Scotland.

If the b@stards even bother to pitch up!

Been through more elections than I care to remember but I can honestly say that I have never been more stunned by a result. I still cant believe it. If we don't win our last 3 matches I might have to go back on the happy pills! Worst still, Katie Hopkins gets to stay in the country!
-
The SNP must be happy bunnies today - much more influence in Westminster.
-
Can someone explain to me how Scotland voted against devolution but voted the SNP in with a landslide?

How old is this guy? 16? So its not good. Lots and lots of meanness. To be fought with compassion. Go Russell.
