  1. Totally agree. But at least the club is still in the family and his legacy lives on.
  2. He will still have to go some way to beat Bobby Charlton's efforts to deny baldness. That comb-over lasted for years!
  3. Stalking? You are as hard to avoid as the clap in a brothel when things are going your way Alpine. As for twisting. Really? What have I twisted? You jump all over the management of the club every time they don't come up to your expectations. And that is pretty much every transfer window. Even when we did sign someone early in the season (Martina) you slated him as being a pub footballer. You really need to find something else to take your frustrations out on otherwise one of these days they will find you slumped over your keyboard. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes but that doesn't stop you making negative assumptions and spouting your nonsense here. Really, just try waiting to see what happens before you dump your negativity on others.

There always looking for a new someone of something. At his peak Gerrard was awesome and a quality player in his own right and nothing like Pirlo as he had a lot more to his game.
  5. Sounds like you need to go on a self awareness course Alps! Do us all a favour will you please? Wait until the transfer window closes and if we haven't signed a CH that meets your exacting requirements, feel free to come on and say I told you so. Until then, can you give it a rest as it is tedious.
  6. Good old Alpine, never lets an opportunity to have a dig at the club go undug. Maybe it is Celtic you should be having a pop at since they are the ones who seem to be delaying the deal (if there is one). Still, we played well and lost on the opening day of last season so I am happy with a point after a not so great performance.
  7. Glad to see JRod starting. Worried about the defence this year. I think we will score more but concede more too. A draw would do for me today.

  9. Cork on just before half time.

  11. 2015 and we are still talking about football hooligans. Really frustrating that these Neanderthals still exist.
  12. And we did all of this without KP. LOL

We can debate this until the cows come home but the main thing is that the management obviously rate him so he must be doing something right.
  14. Job done. Who'd have thunk it after Lords?

  16. Totally agree. It is not how much you spend but who you spend it on.
  17. You haven't mentioned Manchester City in that list....
  18. I am not saying they haven't been successful, but given the plan was to dominate Europe they clearly haven't been as successful as Liverpool and Manchester United have been. Player for player they have spent an awful lot more on trying to buy success than either of those two teams. The last time they did anything in Europe was 1970. They are hardly streets ahead of the main premiership contenders either.
  19. They aren't the force they aimed to be either in Europe or in the Premiership - especially Europe. If I had spent that kind of money I would expect the kind of dominance shown by Manchester United or Liverpool when they were in their peek. Both kicked on at a higher level, something City have failed to do.
  20. As he has never been amongst the first names on the team sheet I would imagine that the manager and coaches aren't convinced either. Decent squad player but as long as he makes unforced errors that led to goal scoring opportunities against us a squad player is all he will be.
