  1. A cursory look at the news this morning shows that a man was arrested for throwing a brick and a bottle at police and you think that it is unlikely that someone had her windscreen smashed? Ok. And as I said, I don’t know this person so why say that I do? There are countless occasions when people mention things that are relative to the narrative of the thread. Do you have a problem with that. You say that I mention things that support my position. The first thing that I mentioned yesterday was a conversation I had with someone with experience of the riots in NI talking about his view of the policing of these riots. Not my view. His view. You say there is an ever growing cast of characters. I have mentioned this guy before and the other character is twice removed, so hardly “ever growing” is it. The second thing I mentioned was that the friend of a work colleague of my wife, who is of Asian origin, had had her car windscreen smashed. Given the amount of hatred shown towards people of a different colour skin this last week and the violence we have witnessed, why would I bother making something up that pales into insignificance against everything else in order to support a view? We all know what is going on, apart from those who support attacks on Muslims, and why. You are a sad little man who gets called out time and again for your unpleasant views and you are so desperate to score points that you even resort to posting laughing emojis on threads about the death of children. Like most people I have friends and acquaintances and, like most people, we discuss the issues of the day. Like most people we relay anything pertinent to the subject of the conversation to the other people. It is common practice and happens frequently in here too. You have done it yourself but of course that doesn’t count does it? You have mentioned your family members when talking about Muslims. You have mentioned your female work colleagues when talking about women’s pay levels and their attitude towards it. You have mentioned all number of things that involve other people you know that are relevant to the narrative at the time. So what makes your position any different than mine? If I did it every day I would agree that you had a point, but over the many years we have been posting here I doubt very much if I have done it much more than you. In my experience, those who are most likely to lie accuse others of lying because that is the behaviour they expect. I don’t accuse others of lying when they talk of conversations with other people. If I was going to go to the trouble of making things up I would make them far more interesting. I relate the opinion of a man who served in NI in The Troubles about the way the police have handled the riots so far and also that someone had had their windscreen smashed in the early evening in Bristol where a riot was expected. I mentioned that she had brown skin as, given the circumstances, it might well have been relevant. Neither of these things do anything to advance my view or opinion. They are relative to the narrative of the thread. Nothing more, nothing less. And to save you the trouble, this one’s for you 😂
  2. It wasn’t “absolute bollocks” and if you have listened to the news subsequently you will have heard that there were some minor incidents in Bristol. Given the events of the last week, why are you even trying to pretend that it was “absolute bollocks.” Far worse things have happened.

  4. One person had experience of riots in Northern Ireland in the 80’s and I have known him for 12 years. Another person I have never met and probably will never met has her windscreen smashed. Not sure what the big deal is there but if it floats your boat, go for it.
  5. This woman is not racist apparently, according to her husband. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/tory-s-pathetic-excuse-for-why-wife-isn-t-racist-for-encouraging-rioters-to-burn-hotels/ar-AA1ont1d?cvid=bf266d445c1d429aa12785f78912b12e&ei=8
  6. Mrs Sog has just returned from work and her colleague, who is Nepalese, has a friend (who also has brown skin) in Bristol who texted her to say that her car windscreen has been smashed by a rock.
  7. The Eat Out scheme helped spread the virus further. He was advised not to do it but did it anyway. You say you didn’t hear any criticism at the time? I heard plenty. No, I didn’t use the scheme. I didn’t fancy the idea of getting Covid. He handed out money as if it was going out of fashion, often to people who didn’t need it as it wasn’t means tested. A lot of it the treasury will never get back. The bloke I used to work for who ran his own small business applied for every hand out going and got them even though he didn’t need it. He saw it as an interest free loan. I was self employed and was laid off with no financial help at all. Yes, it was a difficult time and he had a very difficult job. He did a job, I wouldn’t say that he did it that well.
  8. Probably because they can’t find the court time for the brown skinned person of a religion you hate as they are dealing with so many white male rioters.
  9. The sentences being handed out so far seem relatively lenient compared to other offenders. Two tier justice system? Perhaps we should consider revoking British citizenship for those convicted of terrorism? They have set a precedent already with Sharmeena Begum.
  10. One minute OAPs are being slagged off because of the triple lock, the next they are being used as a stick to beat Labour by because a short term benefit is being modified. I am losing my fuel allowance but I have also benefited from the triple lock. Swings and roundabouts.
  11. The Tories brought in the benefit cap in the first place. Labour have said they will get rid of it when they can afford to, but in the meantime they are bringing in other measures to help. They have made it clear since before they were elected that their hands would be tied over many ambitions because of the financial situation they have inherited. Still, the last 14 years is all down to Labour isn't it? You could make it up and you do, frequently. 🙄
  12. Fewer bees and butterflies in the gardens this year. Keir Starmer’s fault apparently.
  13. At the moment, none. What has that got to do with anything? I don’t know Nigel Farage personally but I know that he is a divisive, racist c**t. Why would I make up fictitious breakfast mates? I could just as easily said that I read that stuff. The guy who worked in military intelligence has many good stories which I usually don’t share on here as I get told that I make them up, but his inside view on current events is interesting to me, even if not to you. Maybe some less grumpy people might find it interesting too. He was stationed in Cyprus at the time of the Turkish invasion and has just returned from a trip there where he gave a talk to the current military officers stationed there as it is the 50th anniversary of the invasion. I digress, believe what you like, but you don’t have to know people in Gaza to have empathy for the plight of the people being killed, maimed and displaced by the IDF. You don’t need to know any Muslims/immigrants to have empathy for those at the end of a boot, brick, firebomb or just verbal abuse from a gang of moronic thugs. There are hundreds of stories out there of people sharing their experiences of being at the end of racist hatred. You probably just assume they are making it all up because they are Muslim? And before you say it, yes, I have empathy for normal, peaceful Jewish people too who are at the end of abuse.
  14. Instead of posting inane drivel why don’t you engage in grown up stuff. So you believe that we have two tier policing and I assume that you believe it favours black/brown/johnnyforeigner people? How does that work exactly when you have a disproportionate amount of black/brown people affected by stop and search and a disproportionate amount of black/brown people dying in police custody? If you listen to black/brown people they believe that there it a two tier system stacked against them. So how is it that you believe that it works the other way?
  15. Pink and yellow 😳 It reminds we of the rhubarb and custard sweets I used to eat as a kid. I don’t have a problem with pink. Over the years I have worn pink shirts and I currently have a sweatshirt which is a funky shade of dusky pink. But, pink has no place as a football team strip. Not sure what it is…maybe it is the pink against the green grass…it just looks wrong on eleven people running around a football pitch. Maybe a different shade wouldn’t have been quite so bad, but this is just so PINK!
  16. Just what I was thinking. It isn’t just pink, it is “certainly pink.”
  17. You are the one who spends his days calling complete strangers c**ts on the internet. Perhaps you need to examine your own behaviour? You seem to get triggered emotionally when anyone says anything remotely supportive of Muslims. (Bless you hypo, supporting another Islamophobe.)
  18. The useful idiot fails again. A rioter has just been jailed for 3 years. 5 years for demonstrating for Just Stop Oil.
  19. Tory MPs were lining up to condemn “hate marches” when people took to the street in support of innocent civilians killed in Gaza and the West Bank. Where are these same Tory MPs now thugs are threatening our towns and innocent people here in this country?
  20. Genuine question. Do you follow Tommy Robinson and Andrew Tate on Twitter?
  21. Black/brown/muslim person does something wrong = very bad White, British person does something wrong = not so bad *cue inane comments about “two tier something something” “taking the knee” “I want my country back” “Lack of British values” “They don’t integrate” “Rule Britannia” etc
  22. Once a week a few of us meet for breakfast and set the world to rights over a Full English (“Nige” would approve). One of the guys is ex military intelligence and had served in Cyprus (at the time of the invasion), Northern Ireland, Iraq and the US. In short, he knows about trouble spots. We were talking about the receipts and he was less than complementary about the police. He feels that they are letting the rioters off lightly, that they are assaulting police officers by throwing objects at them and mostly getting away with it. He would prefer to see them dealt with immediately rather than maybe get a knock on the door a day or two later on the basis that everyone can see that the assaults are not tolerated when they occur. He doesn’t understand why they don’t use the same tactics as in N Ireland where you have a wall of officers behind riot shields and behind them lightly armoured snatch squads who break through the ranks, grab perpetrators and drag them behind the wall again. Shove them in to armoured vehicles and whisk them off to detention centres. I asked about the use of the army and he thinks that would be escalatory at the moment. It also takes a long time to get official approval to deploy the army on to the streets. A lot depends on what happens tonight and how the special police squads are able to deal with any future trouble. The Musk civil war stuff is just a fruitcake being a fruitcake. What we do have now though are groups of people around the country who think that they have been given licence to vent their anger on Asian, immigrants and any one they don’t like the look of by years of negative rhetoric about small boats and illegal immigrants from not only Farage and the likes of Robinson and Tate, but also Jenrick, Braverman, Badenoch, Patel, Anderson etc. The condemnation from the current Tory top table has been lukewarm. Either they are embarrassed because of their complicity or, more likely, they feel that the riots will help their claims of the alleged lack of integration from minority groups and the alleged threat from black and brown people (even though many of them are black and brown themselves).
  23. The Telegraph is now in completion with The Daily Mail as the major propaganda outlet for the far right agenda. They donate two pages to the Asian crowd who caused some relatively small trouble in Birmingham. Two pages. Can you imagine the coverage if it had been gangs of Asians attacking churches, white people, trashing towns, looting and assaulting police for the last week?
  24. I have tried to explain so many times that I don’t bother any more. They are either not very bright or are deliberately being obtuse but, either way, you are wasting your time.
  25. Set up a crowd fund page for you safe passage somewhere else please.
