  1. Holy mackerel... what a game... Congrats to all players and staff... Absolutely massive for our club!!! COYS
  2. A year ago we were 17th or 18th before Xmas - we're now top half with a settled team and manager. We've been praised and admired since restart, playing pretty decent attacking football... I think the improvements have been massive... Dissapointing draw today maybe, but how good is it to be dissapointed with a point rather than resigned to lose ... I'd be happy if we got to position 8-9-10 this year... RH is here to build a team... he's got a few more years to win us something COYS
  3. The standard we now expect from this team is quite unbelievable... Not so long we were struggling... Love it...
  4. What a great position to be in... Strong, hard working and talented starting eleven... Scoring goals, playing fluid and attacking football, confident and healthy team, half decent subs... A great manager (and I'm sure we can include the whole backroom team in that statement)... CEO and snr management seem really grounded (opinion reiterated from the recent fan's forum) . Fan's back at St Mary's 3rd in the league... Off to enjoy my Sunday late lunch COYS
  5. We're certainly bossing it, would be good to get a few more to bring up the goal difference. Maybe we'll see some youngster like Salisu or Nlundu if we're comfortable by the 80th...
  6. Yeahhhhh, winning when not playing well... Good sign πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘
  7. Still proud of the team... Last mins goals were poor and the injuries worrying but 3 points, 4 great goals and up to 3rd... RH might need to shuffle his team a bit for Newcastle but we need to keep the whole team fit and sharp (we saw with Stevens, Diallo and Long that these guys aren't really up to speed) and it maybe a good match to do so. As others JWP MoTM first half, McCarthy for the 2nd half... special mention to the Big Dane
  8. @admin could we pin this thread until the game at the weekend?
  9. Sky Switzerland (ie Sky Germany online) still showing most games incl. the Chelski game one last weekend and vs Everton on Sunday. 20 CHF per month (16GBP) for EPL, EFL, Bundesliga, La Liga,Serie A, Ligue 1... as well as a ton of other sports. Only thing that I struggle with is that these Sky streams are delayed a bit and I can't quite get commentary from Adam and Dave synced up. Seems like they have everything in place so do think they are taking the piss to price it for PPV in England... Sorry guys... Donated as well.. good cause
  10. what's the league code?
  11. Great team spirit, brave and proud, pity we let in three goals but can't complain with the result. COYS
  12. Looks like our away form is once going to keep us in the running...not too bad a half. Let's hope we get to the end with no regrets. Max effort from the boys needed in the second half. COYS
  13. Everton are looking to offload, wondering if Fabian Delph could be a better bet ,maybe season loan... 30yo but can play across midfield. Has had decent seasons in the past.
  14. Sad to see the team playing that way... really sad
  15. dear oh dear
  16. totally playing like a first game of pre-season ... no rythm, no automatism, little control... guess the boys did have a decent summer away to forget about it all
  17. get in ... COYS !!!
  18. End of season madness so going for history making hattrick for Vestergaard .. all goals from min. 30 yards and in less than 180 seconds πŸ™‚ COYS
  19. Fun match to watch... These ManU forward are frightening but we gave as good as we got and some more. The team is so well balanced, got grit and a little panache. RH working miracles. Love it... COYS
  20. Great team performance - we wanted it and we got itπŸ˜‡ Really proud... What a day to be a Saint !!!! http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53279426
  21. Good watch... We really are a counter team... Great goal by Che Come on boys... 45mins to legends
  22. Fair to say we don't have much to lose on Sunday bar a spanking in front of a worldwide TV audience. RH has a few games to figure out some youngsters though unsure if a home game vs a rampant Man City is a fit Would still give Che and Will some game time, they deserve it and seem ready - maybe give Ingsy a little run out from the bench and unleash him at Everton. From the injury reports, looks like we're going to be light on seniors anyway. Front four of Redmond, Amstrong/Moussa, Adams and Long might make for an entertaining game COYS
  23. Agree Vesty was the right CB against this opposition. Suited him perfectly. Great show by the boys... Great win...COYS
  24. Lovely restart... the boys looked rusty in the first 20mins or so but we grew into the game and bossed the second half. Ings, Amstrong and our new captain worked their socks off.... Pretty decent goals to boot. WIth safety pretty much assured, maybe we can climb up the table and record a top half finish. COYS
  25. Hope JWP is ok... didn't look good though. Not a bad half but we got to be switched on to their counters... COYR
