That frailty, which has been exposed in the past months, was kept buried. That's a real bonus. Fair we didn't play incredible football but we played our all from the 25mins onwards, stayed focused, got the chances and scored the goals we needed. Agree with the bitter taste, however If we lose to them, I'd hope they win it... Can't really stand Vardy but the rest of the team, manager and supporters are pretty decent. Big difference to us, in the past few years at least (apart from actually winning something pretty big) is that they sold very well (Maguire, chillwell, kante, drinkwater, mahrez) and replaced by what seems to be as good if not better at a profit (Soyuncu, Maddison, Fofana, Ndidi, Tielemans, Castagne, Justin...) I'd have them in our line up any day of week). Unsure if they managed to get these replacements because they could offer better salary / signing-on fees, euro competition or recent success but we're certainly not in the same playing field anymore... Guess having an (family) owner that actually seems to care probably helps a lot.

Guess we could compare ourselves to Newcastle (current form is shitty, finances are bad, squad size is limited, owners want out) I'm happier with our lot that's for sure - Recent form includes a few games ravaged by injuries and suspensions, next few games look much better for us re 1st teamers back - Our finances seem similar to the past 50 years or so (were we ever flush? maybe only for a few days after selling VvD ?) - Squad size isn't too bad: couple of back up full backs and a midfielder away from decent (fair enough we need at least 10-25million for that) - Owner is (seems) invisible rather than an embrassement COYS

First twenty mins, we looked like a championship side... did pretty well after. Happy for Redmond and Djenepo to get on the scoresheet... nice goals all of them. Che so unlucky with the offsides, I like him a lot Armstrong, what a player All in all, easy win, clean sheet, in the semi, happy days 🙂 COYS

Everyone knew this was a free hit... we got easily beat, no surprise... move on with the knowledge that a few of our players got a rest COYS

He's on par with our other wingers (bar Amstrong) and scored us a couple of goals... I'd prefer him (sadly) to Theo if we were to turn one of these loans into a permanent signing. Certainly works hard, has decent speed and ball control. With a run of games, he could prove himself to be pretty useful.

Think Ralph summed it up: "quality of the opponent was better than ours...today". No shame with our current squad against a good Leicester team and there's always tomorrow. We had our chances and gave a pretty good account of ourselves for 60-70 mins ... A draw would have been a decent result, not to be. I still enjoy how our team is going about it with a set system, no fear and a willingness to work damn hard... Results will come. If we can bed in a few of the academy lads, maybe go on a little cup run and get that top 10 finish, I'd say mission accomplished .... would be a real improvement from last year and yet another sound layer for Ralph to build on.... A year ago we were 17th or 18th before Xmas - we're now top half with a settled team and manager. We've been praised and admired since restart, playing pretty decent attacking football... I think the improvements have been massive... Dissapointing draw today maybe, but how good is it to be dissapointed with a point rather than resigned to lose ... I'd be happy if we got to position 8-9-10 this year... RH is here to build a team... he's got a few more years to win us something COYS

The standard we now expect from this team is quite unbelievable... Not so long we were struggling... Love it...

What a great position to be in... Strong, hard working and talented starting eleven... Scoring goals, playing fluid and attacking football, confident and healthy team, half decent subs... A great manager (and I'm sure we can include the whole backroom team in that statement)... CEO and snr management seem really grounded (opinion reiterated from the recent fan's forum) . Still proud of the team... Last mins goals were poor and the injuries worrying but 3 points, 4 great goals and up to 3rd... RH might need to shuffle his team a bit for Newcastle but we need to keep the whole team fit and sharp (we saw with Stevens, Diallo and Long that these guys aren't really up to speed) and it maybe a good match to do so. As others JWP MoTM first half, McCarthy for the 2nd half... special mention to the Big Dane

Sky Switzerland (ie Sky Germany online) still showing most games incl. the Chelski game one last weekend and vs Everton on Sunday. 20 CHF per month (16GBP) for EPL, EFL, Bundesliga, La Liga,Serie A, Ligue 1... as well as a ton of other sports. Only thing that I struggle with is that these Sky streams are delayed a bit and I can't quite get commentary from Adam and Dave synced up. Seems like they have everything in place so do think they are taking the piss to price it for PPV in England... Sorry guys... Donated as well.. good cause

Everton are looking to offload, wondering if Fabian Delph could be a better bet ,maybe season loan... 30yo but can play across midfield. Has had decent seasons in the past.
