I think Dibling is “on the spectrum” an individual rather than a team player . MLT was similar but in his case he did his thing and the team supported his individuality His reaction to Chelsea move shows that he was comfortable at Saints and any change would unbalance him . I would have thought Saints should have understood him for what he was . He doesn’t like to be in the spotlight , singled out , shouted at etc but given specialist coaching to bring out his talent and protect him .

I'll always be a Saints fan , it is a struggle after the last few years ! It is OK to watch other teams play especially if they are local but I'll still be a Saints fan for ever. Like Turkish says I follow teams in other leagues to see how they are doing and hope they win when I watch on TV .

This meant he couldn’t use any of his money in China to buy Southampton so had to use his off shore money to buy the club . This left him with little or no spare cash to invest in the club . After that it wasn’t long before he had to sell but that took quite some time even though Southampton didn’t command the eye watering price that other clubs did ! So the club was in limbo .
