Watching the highlights Saints had a fair number of chances compared with last season , ironically the first goal started with a pass from our own half going forward quickly but lost in midfield . Not sure if Baz was to blame without slow replaying! Watching Motd and dubious VAR reffing again 🙄

Similar to Lambert playing for England , he was always making runs but no delivery . His goals came from crosses or indirect involvement around the box , I remember.

Puel didn't play exciting football , we had much higher hopes in those days . He slid away to nowhere after he left us so rewriting history doesn't change the anything. Rangers fans are repeating Saints fans comments ie no midfield, crap defending etc.
