I think it was to show you that last year was an army camp session while this year is more relaxing and plenty of ball stuff. I did like the exercises that Pardew was doing, I would call that a morning stretch for me. :-)

Great watching the video's but one minute and 52 seconds is just not enough. Jordan as you are over there doing nothing else (haha) why not give us about 30 minutes footage please as I love watching that stuff.

Company name on stewards Jackets £20,000 per season + VAT A great idea to setup my new company name just so I can have the initials of my company on a stewards jacket. The W******d Auto Trading -
I find this strange that everyone is trying to identify the players in the picture, are you trying to spot Dr Who, Rambo & Tiger Woods or something?!? Those players in the photo play for Saints and they plan to be this season, why the panic guys? just enjoy them like I do.
-
To prove you've seen it, what's the special thing they have done on the back?
-
Am I right in saying this MLT person never improved?

Without a doubt it was Crouch for me, I remember being at work when it come on the radio, us Saints fans was so embarrassed while the others were doing donkey sounds. Funny thing Is 3 of those that laughed was at the skates match (supported us as they hate the skates) when he scored the last minute penalty, we danced all night in the pubs.

I remember on Saintslist a forum user was telling us how bad Paul Williams was, turned out he did a grand job IMHO. What player did you slag off (Look at the rumours thread about Mellor) but it turned out you was totally and utterly wrong?
-
That's part of being a manager Crab, If Adkins moaned you would not like him any less would you?
-
After reading a thread on rumours from ludwiq?!? about the 4-3-3 it got me thinking about the 5 year plan. IMHO it's not about bankrolling our way into Europe but more about paying the good players we have well and keeping the promising one's Oxy, Prowse & Shaw. Of course you won't achieve it with just that but it's the youth setup that holds the key. Getting some good ex pro's like Williams & Dodd can only help us get them ready for the near future by playing the 'Barca way' which I believe is how it's setup from the under 8's and upwards. What do you think?
-
Nothing to boast about really as we have missed out on so many players because of our wage offer.
-
I know but those two teams have lost them better players, we have not.
-
Half of those will be gone soon. The winning habit is what gives players the chance to be better than so called big names.
-
Then you can put the number 8 on the back for good times. ;-) It looks very American those shirts but different. Nice! I do believe the Huddersfield away shirt will be like ours with the blue and yellow V on the front, far right of the yellow kits I saw just above. Very Nice!

I have always said Davis is a weakness until the last part of the season where he was superb. He needs to be pushed more by the Bart as I would hate to see those below standard performances again from Kelvin.
-
Although people are pointing out our weak defence last time we played in this division, I don't think the standards of players was that great back then. Today the defence needs to be good as I believe the championship is the strongest it's ever been now.

You need to read the thread again Turkish. Attacking/Offence/Attacking half/Opposition's half/Going forward.......Whatever people what to call it - We have the best force IMHO as it's exciting and not predictable as Oxy goes either flank and inside out, Lallana will twist you all day, Lambert great free kick, knock downs, hold ups, poachers etc.....I could go on with Guly, Barnard, Connolly, Chaplow, Spider, Hammond and Cork. Just remember we held our own against Premiership opposition last season during our cup run so that does suggest they can mix it in this league at least.
-
I do believe it would help us more in this league as an attacking force because we would have less 'parking the bus' however a few teams last season hit us hard on the break and I know the quality will be better coming at us.
-
Correct Wes, I'm glad none of the above are managers if they think attacking force is 2 people ;-) Indeed attacking is wing backs, midfielder runners, wingers and attackers. yes I believe we have the best because Lallana and Oxy will rip full backs all day long. Now let's get back to the defence! I see Harding has been linked elsewhere? Dickson IMHO is not strong enough as a defending left back but great as a wing back who tear's forward.
-
Cork could be that link we need as a holding player who will organise those that are not picking up the runners.
-
I believe we have the strongest attacking force in this division and it could get even better with another coming in. The problem we will have this season is our defence, although it showed on paper as being the best last season the team sometimes got over run by some lesser teams. The defence is not just about the back five but also the offence players form part of it, however I really hope that the club get another CB and a true loud mouth leader too. IMHO we need to dominate more this season and if so I see us knocking on the playoffs door.
-
Phew that was it. It would get the northam rocking.
-
Jack Cork! I can't remember who sang the tune though.

I think he meant Paul Walsh. -
Well said Yorkie! I hope some of the current players are telling others it's a great place to be in the hope it might attract a player that Adkins might be interested in.
