  1. Why cant we have the info on our official website as people like me had a day off and would of liked to of watched it.
  2. I've worked out that I've spent £230 and I've not seen a goal yet this season. Done 4 games with the kids plus two Saints shirts, shorts and food etc. What's the longest you have gone without seeing your team go without a goal? Does anyone still think of that time we went 21 games without a win, I recall it was Ruddock that broke the deadlock at the dell, strange but exciting days back then.

    Lallana!

Back running? That can be dangerous sometimes as you never know what's behind you. This is true, I knew someone who could run backwards faster than I could run forward and you are talking 14 seconds for the 100m.
  4. Stevo and Deppo that made me laugh!
  5. I said to my son at the game around the 65th minute mark. I will buy you the away Saints shirt if the ball beats the first man. haha I was very safe as the ball hit the first defenders knee area. I still believe the best corner is to lob the ball 70 yards in tha air to land on the 6 yard box. I love scrambles :-)
  6. superb and spot on. The subs is the way I see it and that's why this season AP did my head in. NA yesterday brought two on the 70 minute mark. Good man.
  7. I totally agree but ****ing 'ell when he's bad he's well ****ing bad. Could not trap a spud sack today, he's needs a break from footy for a while.
  8. It will be that red beach ball that scored for the mackems.
  9. Did not have a great game as he is in the same boat as Puncheon. They both don't want the ball as they are scared to lose it. The groans they get when the team gets read out does not help either.
  10. I thought Pulis shined today under the new manager. During the half time knock about I saw him do a lovely side pass to Bart when they was all in a circle.
  11. We was better today, NA had one day's half training with the guys on Friday and it was miles better than the Wombles game. Hammond said it on the radio and I agree too when he said 'We have a whole weeks training session with the new manager and its going to be great, the players are smiling and enjoying it again. I know for a fact will will beat Sheff Weds as I could see a half spark today.
  12. I did this thread at HT on the phone and I can tell you that Fonte was bloody good today as he wanted it badly. The best player on the pitch and for you to say that puzzles me Mike.
  13. Fonte has to be everywhere at the back because the other centre back is pants. Harding has no left midfielder to pass too so he has less options. Pucheon does not want the ball as he knows he is playing crap and plus he hears the fans on his back. Hammonds wanders around the pitch and is a lost little boy. Lambert won't get the ball in the middle on the floor or from a great cross as we don't deliver him one. So that's the problem and I'm afraid I can't see any answers because those players that are dragging us down can't be replaced by anyone else right now.
  14. I'm fed up too Norm but I won't give up on them because they need everyones support right now. When we are **** I cheer louder, when we are good it makes my life easier as I'm such a happy person to be around. I'm off today and I know for a fact we will lose but I know that the good times will come back again.
  15. You was not so fussy years ago when we went drinking in Totton. ;-)
  16. Left Malaga airport and the forks of lightning was all around us, I thought they delay flights because of this?
  17. They can't win Pancake so just let the mongers continue to moan. I had a thought this morning, when it's so great at our club 60,000 people want to watch us, when it's not so good people call for boycotts and continue to slat us fans that believe in hope that we will turn it around. That's why i love supporting Saints as they enjoy the roller coaster journey too much.
  18. Sorry Pancake I did not make myself clearer. Yes we did get to the cup final in 2003 by winning four games at SMS so it was hardly jinxed.
  19. How can we give up on our team so easily? As people have said, sort our own team out and the results will slowly keep coming. Once you get some results then the players we have will be far too good for any team in this league.... Having a inform Fonte, Spider, Hammond, Puncheon, Lallana, Barnard, Harding, Richardson, Lambert and some good loanees will rip **** out of anyone! SIMPLE AS THAT
  20. Other than the Spurs game we had three easier home matches at SMS in our 2003 season. IMHO you should expect to win them games against lower division teams.
  21. Not jinxed at all, put it down to lazy pre season training and the players not being fit to wear the shirt at the start of the season, this causes the fans jumping on the players backs which makes them too nervous to hold the ball longer and playing passing football.
  22. How to win on Saturday. Two new loan players in on Thursday, The players then have to come in on rest day to watch a DVD on where we can improve. Then NA takes them on the pitch to do some simple set pieces that will of been noted by our scout on Colchester. Friday, nice and early please for training as NA has them getting used to our new flank football as our new loanees get to the bar line everytime. Friday afternoon, set pieces re-run until the thick ****s get it right. Saturday morning in early for some more bonding with the team and then Saturday afternoon kick ****ing arse. If no player kicks arse then you are training with the children on Monday. Btw training next week will be 4 hours a day running up and down the terraces until you are half dead. Fuxking Saints make me so angry at the moment because nothing is simple.
  23. Sad thing is he has to listen to Wilkins to get an opinion on who to play tonight. That's why the team will be the same as the last one. Can we win it? If nobody gets injured then NA can turn it around with some subs because he will spot the MK weakness. 0-0 @ 70 mins and the game is ours.
  24. Sorry about the spelling, this IPhone has a mind of it's own. Btw as for Hoddle's training Gorman did it all while he would often watch in the centre of the pitch, he hardly spoke but when he did the players would be sat around him on the centre circle.
  25. Hey Sue I'm sorry for letting you down on a first day training report as I took a holiday in Marbella instead so would anyone else :-) I saw WGS first, Pardews, Hoddles, and another two which escape me now. Referring too hard training, I remember WGS used to have a hell Wednesday as he make the players sprint to the half way line before jogging back and doing it again until they were blue in the face. I remember that only Walcott and Telfer used to be the best survivors. He used to practice the high ball one touch every session I saw too. Pardew used to like setting up matches and keep stopping play when he was not happy (so often) I also know that when he was not happy he would swear to the players alot. Seen Harding get screamed right in his face, a verbal of ****'s in his face at the start of this season's training, maybe threes the wrong way to get your point across? What is NA's style? I will find out soon no doubt :-)
