Some people are getting excited by the signing of Inigo and yet i've not heard of him. I will go on to tell you that I had not heard of Fonte, Harding, Hammond, Puncheon, Antonio and finally Lambert before they signed for us. My point is before we start telling everyone that we have so and so playing for us and that we will win the league, they will look at you and say WHO just like I did...! It's amazing really how we have fallen in love with football outside the premiership and we thought it would be all doom and gloom. ROLL ON another season as we tell everyone how amazing we are and yet our friends that support the big boys will look at you like a lost lemon :-) PS What has Pardew done for Saints that no other manager in the lower leagues could not do with the money he had to spend? In saying that I hope he stays because he has built a good squad of players that I've not heard of before until now.

That got you worried but it got me thinking though, why are we going one nil down before kicking arse and getting our 3-1's etc... Do the players bet to bump the odds up? How much did anyone win today from the bookies?

Your personal opinion then Arizona? I don't care who we play next season, the bigger the team then I higher profile for this league. I have never known it full of stronger teams and now Wednesday have joined us. Let's be champions of the so called ex premiership teams of 8 years ago.

Mine too although it also was a special moment for me watching Thomas crack that shot against Ipswich in the cup as I had my son and daughter with me going wild too. priceless and I promise them even more away trips next season.

I love the build up to the new season, I love the speculation and the excitement of new players coming in, I love the hope of new players that improve an already great squad, however the one thing I love most of all is looking at other peoples forums and seeing what they are saying about the MIGHTY Saints. Oh and before I forget, I love the thought of us being at the top of the league looking down on everyone else.

Someone in the Lanbert mode would be the Luton striker where we can bring him on. Hughes is a Barnard type player so there is no need.

Just seen all the kits for the World Cup and I must say England have the most boring one of the lot. They should of released that for the 2018 campaign as that would of been more suitable copying the '66 version. I must say I like the Japan one.

Very true, Pardew knows the guy better, we don't? What we lack is a true leader on the pitch, Kelvin can't do it at the back and Hammond can't do it full stop! I trust Pardew and not the comments of some saints fans on this forum.

We have a supa dupa player coming on big time and I was told this guy is the real dogs ******s. He's reaching 13/14 now but he is not far off. (gulp) A mix between Theo and Henry was the word last year, I've known about him for 3 years now but I'm finding it hard to track him. Anyone know more?

Yes that Channon goal was special. He even scored it with his very weak left peg! I remember about 10 years after that happened it came on a sports channel, they showed the goal and I bursted out 'You won't see a better goal.......' About 5 seconds before the commentator said it and the 10 guys in the room looked at me as they was impressed with my knowledge.
