Ipswich got all the decisions last week against Brum and it appears the same again today.

As expected we are dominating midfield but we've got nothing in attack.

Whilst some of his defending is a bit suspect Welington does look handy going forwards.

Yep I've just watched it back, the pass was literally straight at Quarshie. No idea what he's thinking. I'd imagine it's because he's not confident in using his left foot.

Sorry but why did Quarshie let the ball run, it was his fault, no one elses. Ok it wasn't a great pass but you've just got to deal with it.

Can definitely see a new right back coming in given he prefers Fraser there to Sugawara. Looks pretty strong until you get to the attack. We are desperately short on quality in attacking positions and that's highlighted today.

Scored twice in the end and the second was a good strike from the edge of the area.

I know it's only one game but it's a great start for them. They've invested heavily but it's what you have to do these days to have any chance in that league. West Ham will be down there this season I think.

Sounds like Leicester really struggled in the first half against Preston. Wonder how many of their players actually want to be there because their front 3/4 should be ridiculous at this level.

We also probably wouldn't see any "statement" signings unless we sold one of them.

Can't pretend I've heard of him but he looks like a decent player. Just scored for them this afternoon too. Looks like we are finally being linked with players after not hearing a great deal since we signed Downs.

Tbf we've seen him play in the middle and on the right and to me he looked a lot more effective out wide.

It would be nice to have a good ball carrier (Rudoni, Dibling etc) on one side and a more pacy dynamic player on the other.

Very good answer and what we've been crying out for. The majority of us don't like 3/5 at the back but I could understand why he's doing it and he's just confirmed that.

Yeah, there's certainly worse leagues to sign players from.

If we don't end up selling Dibling then I wonder if he would sign a new contract with a realistic release clause in it. Because if he doesn't then everyone loses out in a way. Saints miss out on a proper transfer fee and Dibling has to play at least another season on what I'd imagine are pretty low wages. Not entirely sure it's something the club would offer though. Will his heart be in it? Personally I'd rather he was sold now.

Cajuste and Akpom unlikely to feature for them due to fitness concerns with Burns and Hutchinson obviously out too. Philogene back though.

Personally I would play this side Bazunu; Sugawara, THB, Quarshie, Manning; Downes, Charles, Fernandes; Robinson, Fraser, Stewart/Downs.

Poor miss really but the pass from BBD was not ideal. You'd expect an international striker to do better with it though.
