Obviously Davis played at a higher level but they both do a similar job. Good at pressing, keeping possession and passing. Technically good with the ball at feet too. He lacked a bit of physicality but he's improved that. I didn't think he'd become this important.

He's the Steven Davis of the team

Other results going against us

Stewart having another poor game. Larin definitely the better option at the moment.
-
He looks so much fitter now than when he joined. A huge difference in fact.
-
How good was Nathan Wood when he came on? Some quality last ditch tackles. I think it's quite risky not having Jelert on the bench though. THB at right back did not work.
-
Tbh City are a much better footballing side than Arsenal who apart from set pieces look very average. I don't think they'll win anything.

Man City are winning the league

Tbf Will Still doesn't seem like that kind of guy. The other two though...

I think I've now worked out our best side for when we make the play offs. Peretz, Bree, THB, Stephens, Manning, Downes, Jander, Scienza, Matsuki, Azaz, Larin. Close calls between Charles/Jander and Stewart/Larin but Jander has been playing very well lately and I think Charles has more impact off the bench. Same applies to Stewart.

The whole front 4 have been poor unfortunately. Such a poor goal to concede. Azaz needlessly kicking it out, lost the first header then Stephens is the wrong side of his man.
-
Azaz having one of those games. Probably worth hooking him at half time.
-
I think 2nd was always a pipe dream. Let's win the play offs again.
-
Millwall fans saying they think their team is running out of legs at just the wrong time. Must admit I haven't been impressed with them at all tonight but we were crap at the Hawthorns too.

My bad, not sure why I thought Leeds were playing Tuesday 🫠
-
Not sure they got that from. Walked off the pitch totally fine last night.
-
Man Citys original game that weekend has been brought forward to the Wednesday, whilst Chelsea's has moved to the Tuesday. Might mean we are playing on the Sunday and the Ipswich game is being pushed back a day?
-
Seems to me that he's a bit of a "big game" player.
-
No reason why we shouldn't be able to whip up another great atmosphere. As I said previously this is the tougher game this week. Although they have an injury crisis upfront they have some decent players. Matt Clarke, David Ozoh and Bobby Clark have stood out to me.
-
No, it was a really obvious foul. Such a poor decision.

Unbeaten since we sold Adam Armstrong
