  1. I just wish we would put this side out to at least give us a chance of scoring some goals. Baz/McCarthy, Jelert, THB, Wood, Welington, Downes, Jander, Fellows, Azaz, Scienza, Armstrong. Get Edozie back on the bench as well.
  2. They probably couldn't wish for an easier game given their recent struggles. They will know we'll play 3 at the back and to cut the passing lanes to our forward players. They will get balls into the box and shoot on sight. They'll know we won't have our best team out for any of the match. The slog continues.
  3. I reckon you're probably right. I get that vibe from a lot of players. Stephens, THB, Manning, Downes etc.
  4. Probably - but he's got better credentials than Tonda.
  5. Could've just appointed Clement. Has Norwich playing well. Experienced manager with a decent win rate. No thrills, just a good, solid manager. That's all we needed.
  6. Carrick plays the exact same type of football as Tonda
  7. I would've had him before we appointed Tonda and still would.
  8. He shouldn't be our manager this evening.
  9. Yeah there is absolutely no need for 3 CBs today. Millwall are so comfortable.
  10. Another utterly boring and turgid half of football.
  11. Matsuki looks decent
  12. It's the Manning Stephens side again as per usual.
  13. You only have to be good at passing to be able to make it at Man City. Angus Gunn another prime example.
  14. Totally agree with this.
  15. Jander clearly needed a rest. So did Azaz. Fellows and Armstrong probably do as well. They've all been below par recently. I just don't understand how Manning and Stephens get in this side though.
  16. TBF it doesn't matter what formation you play if you've got Manning and Stephens playing.
  17. Looks like the keeper is as good as done and imagine we'll probably only sign a striker if we can loan Downs out.
  18. Yep and despite not knowing anything about him what so ever I'm sure he can't possibly be worse than Bazunu has been this season. He can't be too bad if Bayern signed him, I know he was only ever back up but they obviously saw something in him. At least it seems like the club have addressed the issue, temporarily at least. Now go and get a striker.
  19. Tbh we were never going to buy a new keeper in January with the Ramsdale situation up in the air. Loan this guy until the end of the season. If he plays well we may be able to sign him permanently.
  20. Glen said something very similar on TSP last night. Stephens is the main issue and always has been. He just stands there watching. Doesn't attack the ball in the air. Doesn't throw himself in front of shots, doesn't put in big tackles and marks space instead of his man.
  21. They had us figured out at their place a few weeks ago and no doubt we will play the exact same way. Also expecting the same outcome.
  22. And he was really happy with the performance. I mean come on. Fair enough you don't want drop the players in it but don't pull the wool over our eyes. That first half was atrocious at best.
  23. The gap between the defence/midfield two and the front 3 was huge yesterday, especially in the first half. No control in there what so ever.
