There have certainly been more positive signs in the last two games but it needs to be translated into wins now. The Chelsea game is a bit of a write off given the side we will put put out but Villa are in poor form - there's no reason we can't go there and give them a real game (IF we can play like we did in the 2nd half last night)

Weirdly Manning has been better in the Premier League than he was in the Championship.

I think people are annoyed because they can see glimpses that we could actually be a half decent side. The reason we have so many players suspended is because they are continuously giving the ball away and having to foul to stop the opposition players taking advantage. A few times tonight we went more direct and looked a real threat. If we can do that more and cut back on the stupid passing out from the back then great.

Yeah, have you ever seen a keeper stand at the back post when a cross is coming in?? No way is he saving Archers shot whether Armstrong is there or not.

Also I get everyone moaning about the disallowed goal but Downes should've been sent off before half time.
