Martin has already admitted on more than one occasion that he'd rather lose playing like this than pick up points playing in any other way. I mean WTF. Bloke is bonkers.

Palace won't go down whilst they've got players like Mateta, Eze and Guehi. They've had a poor start but they'll pick up for sure. I still think the 3 teams that came up will go back down, with us firmly bottom of the pile.

The squad isn't great, but as others have pointed out, if it was coached properly we'd have more than 1 point on the board right now. We've had by far the easiest fixtures compared with all the other teams around us and we actually look worse against the teams we should be looking to get points from. Even if they stick with Martin in the Championship next season and he manages to get us promoted again. What then? We go back up and finish bottom having not won a game? I just don't get the plan here.

Harsh on Ralph that. In general he did a decent job with us. Even when he was sacked we weren't in an awful position. Yes his tenure had run it's course but everything since then has been the problem.

Just watched the Everton game. Got the big men upfront in the last 5 minutes and whipped cross after cross into the box and they scored right at the death. Whilst we bring on Onuachu and continue to pass the ball sideways and backwards in our own half.

Yes because the style isn't too dissimilar to their own. Of course they will compliment it as it was a relatively easy day for them. Doesn't mean it works for every team though, does it?

Agreed. He signed a new deal but it only added a year on as he still had two left, so not a huge difference. As you say, basically just a pay rise as we got promoted.

He's a young lad and won't play well every week. The fact we seem to be relying on him this much at his age is extremely concerning.

Sounds exactly what we don't need in this current situation. Would be another gamble. I'm sure he's a very good coach but we need someone with a little bit of experience at least.

Wolves have certainly had a more difficult set of fixtures than us so far. I'd suggest ATM we are nailed on to finish bottom.
