I think it's confidence more than anything to be honest. He has the momentum of being one of the best players in the league last season. I don't think Martin truly believed in him two years ago, which would've been a kick in the teeth considering Smallbone played as a defensive mid when he's not able to fulfil that role.

Fernandes back in and Archer or Downs in for Armstrong. Fraser deserves to keep his place IMO.

I agree. Not a massive fan but he's still very young for a keeper and certainly has some good attributes. Whilst I acknowledge his save ratio is poor, the abuse he's received to date is OTT in my opinion.

Obviously you look at the match winners Stephens, Manning, Bazunu but Charles was my motm. He's come on leaps and bounds.

Agree. None of the players who have been pulled from training are there (Aribo, Edozie, Dibling). Obviously the expectation is all 3 are going to leave but clearly nothing is done yet.
