There are clearly fitness issues

No the players used to get the two days after the game off. Play on Saturday = Sundays and Mondays off. Ridiculous.

There were some "fun" games at home. Blackburn, Swansea, Wednesday etc but so many of our away games were very mundane against generally poor opposition.

Yep, I certainly wouldn't want to be playing as a DM in a Russell Martin side.
