Apparently he's really quick which is good because I feel our side has a lack of pace in general.
-
I do think people expect a bit too much. It's always going to be hard to recruit Premier League quality players in this division. We've just finished as the second worst premier league side ever ffs. Sign the best Championship players, get promoted again but then improve upon them once promoted. That's what we didn't do last time.
-
Yep, just what I was thinking.
-
Edwards can play there but Bree is due back in training next week. The club would get more money for selling Sugawara as well so I very much doubt Bree will be going anywhere. Edit - just realized Bree is out of contract at the end of the season. Wonder if the club will actually try and move him on now or just keep him as back up and run down his contract.
-
General consensus among Brentford fans so far is that he works hard and will be decent at this level but struggled in the Premier League.
-
Indeed. Why would we keep bidding if we knew the player wasn't interested. Anyway the agent has come out and said the player wants the move.

I'm fairly sure that account gets his information from an Armenian journalist.
-
Hang on, the same account said his release clause is €15m. If true, our offer matches that?
-
That was 14 million euros.

So much talking yet so little happening. I hope Krasnodar **** themselves over and he leaves on a free at the end of the season.

You're right. If you search Dibling on twitter there are Spurs fans crying about how "they're now going to end up with Dibling or El Khannouss" 😂
-
Wonder if Spurs might go in for Dibling now Eze looks like he could be off to Arsenal.
-
I'd be shocked if we weren't trying to move Smallbone on. He's out of contract at the end of the season. He's also definitely not a Will Still type of player. With Aribo also going, we'd be stupid to not look at signing another midfielder.
-
Everton back in talks for Dibling. I wonder if they're concerned Palace will come to the table soon.
-
Spertsyan I'd imagine
-
I agree. I think scoring will be our issue this season (probably the opposite of the last champ season) but we will do a lot better defensively. Despite still having errors in us I think WS can set up a team much better than Martin did. Realistically Either Downs, Stewart or Archer will need to get 15-20 goals at least like Adams did. Certainly can't see Armstrong getting anywhere near the 25 odd he got last time.
-
You're probably right but I think a decent sweeper keeper deals with it regardless.
-
Yeah the first goal is just a total cock up by the defender/keeper. The second though we saw happen plenty of times at Saints.
-
Ah there's the good old Martin tactic of leaving an opposition player free on the edge of the box. Always works so well.
-
What about that Esse they signed from Millwall last season. Can't say I've noticed that he's had much game time. Looked a decent player when I saw him for Millwall.
-
Don't think we'll be seeing the usual suspects trying to defend Martin tonight somehow!
-
The Lens guy is for the wide position. Spertsyan is a totally different player.
-
Doubt it, it would be huge downgrade
-
Palace is definitely a better fit for him than Everton I think.
