  1. Yeah, should have scored but other than that I thought he was very good actually. Held it up better than usual and brought high energy levels. Exactly what you want from a sub - the total opposite of you know who.
  2. Big difference between this and Russball is we now look for the forward pass once the opposition have committed to the press and then keep going forwards. Under Martin we used to pass it around at the back, eventually get the ball forward then pass it back again.
  3. That's the second time this season they've had a game abandoned at home due to a waterlogged pitch. They've been winning 1-0 both times as well. Embarrassing for a Championship club but their fans must be fuming.
  4. Clearly the better side in the first half. We aren't the same team when we make subs but let's not forget we do still have a fair few players out injured who would do a better job of coming on (Stewart, Charles, Mads etc). Please please drop Manning. The bloke is a complete and utter liability.
  5. Not surprising considering he's a forward player playing at wing back
  6. Agreed. Rather listen to them than Jo Tessem tbh.
  7. I certainly don't disagree with what you say and the first goal is a prime example of that. We have an error prone back line and a substandard keeper so yes not a great combination but there are a few on here who seem to want to criticise him for every goal conceded.
  8. No way can you blame him for the disallowed goal. It was a terrible header back from Stephens. In fact I don't think Stephens had any idea where the header was supposed to be going. I'd say he should definitely do better with the first one but that's about it. As for the third goal - Manning shouldn't have even been in that position in the first place. It's actually Mannings poor marking that leads to there being too many players in that area. I don't rate Bazunu but I do find it funny that people will blame him for literally everything even when some of it clearly isn't his fault.
  9. I mean Stephens and Manning were just as bad. Both marking the same player FFS.
  10. Mr Blobby would be more use off the bench than Aribo.
  11. Yep. On TSP Steve or Glen (can't remember who) said the same. There's another 3 game week coming up. Maybe see how he deals with that.
  12. Oh totally agree. Spors should have a striker already lined up considering every man and his dog knows we need one. Even if it means paying over the odds. It's critical.
  13. It's been very good against teams that leave us space. He'll need to try and work out a way to combat teams who don't do that.
  14. I don't think anyone watching that would genuinely think he was anything other than awful. I'd imagine he's just saying that. He can't exactly come out and say he was shit.
  15. Despite the third goal being an absolute mess from probably half the team, how the hell did THB manage to slice the ball into the net? Looked like a simple clearance to me.
  16. That's the issue. He doesn't think.
  17. Whilst it was poor game management the manager has one arm tied behind his back as there's no one to hold the ball at the top end of the pitch when we are under the cosh.
  18. Yeah. Based on nothing other than gut feeling. But we'll see.
  19. It's games like this where it's literally pointless to have Armstrong upfront. You really need a big outlet up top to use as an out ball.
  20. I've got this feeling it's already a done deal and they will announce it next week.
  21. The Aribo sub was a stinker though. There's no denying that.
  22. He was a bit out muscled to be honest. I think we really missed Charles today.
  23. Well it certainly looks that way from how he's played since coming back in under Eckert. You've got players like Adams and KWP (recent examples) who knew they would be leaving but still put in 100% for the club. Then you've got ones like Aribo who just can't be arsed.
  24. I said it previously at QPR but why oh why are we bringing a lethargic Aribo on ahead of an energetic Matsuki in a game where we need lots of energy. Absolutely baffling.
  25. Agree. It was his biggest test so far and failed it unfortunately. Let's hope we bounce back next weekend.
