West Ham fan just told me that he had a serious leg injury that kept him out for 6 months and has been out of favour since.

He's something we don't really have - quick powerful winger. Just got to hope he stays fit.

Links have gone quiet since the Ramsdale news broke. Guessing that deal has eaten up more of our budget than we were originally planning when going for Bijlow. We badly need an exciting attacking signing but I could see Fraser coming in and that's it.

We don't need him and I can't see it happening. Certainly not over two attacking players anyway.

This is the team I'd pick going forwards (Bednarek in for ABK if he goes and a new forward in for AA)

Much more composed finisher than AA. Seemed better at holding it up as well.

He made it look easy - The difference in quality compared to Wood was enormous.

Gave it away a few times but you've got to accept he will do that now and again - don't care when he comes away with two assists.

Put that midfield (plus Downes) with our defence last Saturday (plus Ramsdale) and we've got a great chance of staying up.

Positives - Fernandes, Ugochukwu, Dibling, SAA, Archer, Lallana. Negatives - Lumley, Wood, Edozie, Edwards.

Swansea fans did warn us about Wood. Just such an odd signing. Horrendous player.

Why the hell did we sign Nathan Wood? He's absolutely shite. Taylor isn't much better either.

Lumley can pass but that's about it. So we have two keepers that can pass but can't save anything and another who can save things (now and again) but can't pass. Ramsdale coming in can't come quickly enough.

Edozie needs to be loaned out and get a full season in the Championship, like Charles. SAA has really shown him up tonight.

Fernandes has been the best player on the pitch so far IMO.

This side is so much more dynamic than what we saw on Saturday. There's an argument that this midfield should start this weekend with Downes included obviously.

Lyall Thomas and Alex Crook both trotting out this line. Which is heartening and as others have said, Ramsdale must be very close to signing.

RM said there will be 11 changes so no AA or BBD. Imagine Edozie and SAA will play and we'll see Lallana come off the bench.

Can't wait for AA to bag another 2 PL goals this season.

It'll be very hard for us to sign a first choice keeper from another club now with limited time for other clubs to find a replacement. So we certainly won't have many options in these last couple of days.

Garcia is signing for Arsenal and Steele will stay at Brighton as it seems they are loaning out Rushworth.

Who knows what will happen and obviously the club will be judged on who we get come Friday night but at least there are solid links to strikers, wingers and keepers. The 3 positions we badly need to recruit in.
