The offside thing is baffling. When we played Villa we were told that it was offside if it hit something that you score with, but last night his fingers were offside and as far as Im aware you cant score with these

Alex Crook claims interested parties in Saints takeover
OldNick replied to Smirking_Saint's topic in The Saints
Even if Gao waned to let us have money, the tight laws in China prohibiting money to leave is a massive hurdle -
sadly the refs decision rolls on to the next game, who else have we got to play centre back???
-
you're not Glasgow Saint posting from Kenya by any chance lol
-
the Arsenal Athletic reporter said Niles didnt fancy coming to us. Probably doesnt like hard work. Much easily joining big Sam where the midfield is not required and he can just jog around
-
Just seen that Billy Gilmour has been linked to us

Ralph took the decisions with dignity, sadly that means it wasnt all over the media this weekend and brushed under the carpet, wheras Dean Smiths out burst caused a rumpus and hence sympathy came from many directions including it seems VAR! Much like a player standing on his feet when fouled and not going over, he doesnt get the advantage of a penalty. Should Ralph have really shouted about it all?

I wouldn't hold your breath. I will hold that forever

Mason implied he thought it hit Cash on the chest, Dean played the Refs Union card as he knows that Mason will VAR him one day and so backs him up. As for the lino flagging, there is no way he could have seen such a tight decision, he guessed. One of my biggest disappointments was JWP free kick into the wall. That was the best chance and he failed miserably as it seemed to be in a perfect position

37 years ago!! Oh what a day!!! The thrill of that goal never wanes. 9000 Saints fans at Fratton enjoying the goal that will always be remembered. These few years in the 80's were IMO the best years in Saints history,

The Spurs thing may ring true. Mourinho and his 'I dont want to speak bout another clubs player' does not dampen the speculation but makes it seem he really is interested in him. Spurs know exactly how to play the system.

fair comment but there is always a fear he will leave
-
fair comment, but at the same time I dont want a Ozil, Aubangumang situation, massive contract. As he played for Liverpool I doubt he'd go to Everton
-
He did say CL side. Leicester perhaps next season but Everton!!

The good posters no longer post here and you can see why...

Sad to read about Toomer, I didn't know him but felt he was a balanced poster. I used to like Scotties humour , Bearsy as well bloody funny. Dubai Phil still around luckily. Ladysaint havent seen her post and there used to be a woman who used to be a dancer who was a regular poster in the lounge. Glasgow has he gone, or has his betting caught up with him. Hamster Midfield General and sadly many more who dont add their stuff anymore -
ive only seen the clips on MoTD but we seemed to be in the game and perhaps created as many chances. What was evident to me was the amount of loose passes straight to their players that put us under undue pressure and 2 goals came from them. It was a foul but the VAR was never going overrule the ref.

depends on what side of the fence you're on

I think people who throw stones should not live in grasshouses

of course they are the longest holders of this trophy. Much like the Fa Cup. When they win something best to get your helmet and protective gear on as there becomes a world crisis
-
Crikey no posts since December 22nd!!! Is this thread dying out? Come on Pompey give us something pleeease

Another one gone from my childhood. I saw him play a few times but he never stood out to me when he was playing against us at the Dell. No doubt Brian O'Neill had something to do with that lol
-
thanks for posting that

I also thought that Walcotts tackle may have had a further closer look. There again it was biter bit as that was a classic Milner tackle he had the pleasure of receiving
-
I usually dislike Carragher but I thought he was very fair post match, he said it was a pen and showed why. It showed that KWP placed his right foot to the side of Sadio and did not touch him
