well Iam anti Pellegrino, but it seems to me that he has changed things a tad, and we played some decent football.Ive seen Saints play rubbish football teams and lose and so I'm not going to be churlish and criticise our win. Well done the team and pellegrino

because you have no idea if that is the case. It seems to me you are in a wheelchair and have only one arm and blind. How do I know, well I'm guessing with no evidence, just like you have

Was there an orchestrated plan by West Ham to have all the tv pundits, commentators and other media to big up the West Ham fans?? Why were they so special , to me they seemed ready to turn if Leicester scored a second. When they equalised the volume didn't seem to great. A big thing was made about their fans as if they had roared them to victory, it seemed far less than that to me,and there are other clubs who would have been more vocal.Im not putting ours in that category as I expect a toxic atmosphere tomorrow, Im taking my grand-daughter for her first PL game.....I hope it is a happy experience not one of aggression and ire of the fans. My daughter and boyfriend are on the Motherwell team coach to the Scottish League cup final tomorrow, they are friends of one of their players. great experience of going to a cup final on the team coach. I know only Scotland, but it is against Celtic. I have told them to wear crash helmets lol

Ep 20 - Saints F.C. Podcast meets Mauricio Pellegrino
OldNick replied to twoandahalfstuds's topic in The Saints
All my opinion, I really want to enjoy it,but I have it on and my wife says 'oh my god, I see you have mogadon on again.' I can see why he was invited by Virgin media as there was never going to be any awkward questions asked. As for not paying, isnt the internet all about getting an big audience, and then cashing in from there? There is no doubt he is a smashing man and that is something to be proud of but as a fan a bit more passion would not go amiss. The interviews with ex-players are good and well worth listening to. -
I can see why they want Tadic,he hadan assist for them saturday
-
its not panicking, its assessing the mess, and trying to stop the rot until too late. The mistake was that the big mouths won the day and we lost our last manager, who would have had the last summer window to get some more players in, to progress. We played very organised and attractive football, just nobody who could put the ball in the net. Had he been allowed the summer to rectify that we would be flying higher now. Especially with the fixture list we had.

Ep 20 - Saints F.C. Podcast meets Mauricio Pellegrino

This podcast a perfect reflection of the club. No fire or identity. A great jolly, that we all would have loved to go on, but nothing at all to rock the boat. Are there any other podcasts out there, but with a bit more going on? -
does Reed get a commission on profits of player sales. I know at onetime managers used to
-
imho it was Cortese who laid the ground for our success, not Reed. Marcus had total faith in him and had the great man still been alive I suggest that NC would still be running the club. I recall the media piece a few years back, where the club checked on players sleeping habits, how they made sure that they took their own chefs , and even mattresses to away games to make the players feel relaxed, has that stopped now? the thought was , even if it made a couple of % difference it was important.
-
i think we nearly had his choice of owner at one time, and so I suggest we keep him out of such things.Great footballer period
-
There are 9 who want him to stay, amazing unquestioning loyalty by them. Lets hope the 9 are not Reed Ralph, Kat and the Gaos
-
you've got a better chance of Mugabe stepping down than Reed
-
Probably because he was nasty in his former life
-
to be truthful, as it seems there is such a gulf between the top 5 or 6 and the rest, supporting any other club is pretty pointless. Football and especially Saints has been my life for over 50 years, I now am disenchanted with it all. Puels run in the EFL last season reignited my passion for saints, and going to the final was wonderful, then seeing the manager who guided us to that final being treated so disgracefully made me lose even more interest
-
To be fair to MP there are 7 who want him to stay, who lets Pompey fans on here
-
Ive seen many polls on here over the years but never as one sided as this one
-
that's what fans said when we went down before
-
How can fans want Adkins back, he is not a PL manager.
-
Agree, the fans who wanted Puel out will never accept they were wrong so you are wasting your time. It all started as the team failed to score, a dull nil nil becomes a decent game once the thrill of a goal goes in. Sadly the club sold our goals and didn't replace them
-
You cannot play with 2 flaky players like Tadic and Boufal in the same team. Tadic did a schoolboy error by walking the ball across the front of our box for their first goal. Long with Austin/Gabbi up front. The manager is ppalling and sadly the atmosphere at St Marys next week will quickly become toxic. Everton need to attack from the first minute and try to get a goal, then the crowd will turn and go into meltdown.
