I think none of us are happy with the football. I believe the manager is a real dud, I was keen for Puel to stay and so perhaps biased. Had he been given the summer to get a couple of players in, and with the return of VVD and Gabbi, could have turned us into a very good side. We have taken on a manager who doesn't sem to react or know how to make an attacking side. Bertrand is not himself but I don't think he has ever been Mr Happy and so it is just being highlighted at presen. Yes he did make a crossfield pass to no one. Surely when you are attacking there should be someone in that space. The trouble was that the team were so keen to stay in their own half they didn't move up field. Good attacking play you spread the game, Redmond came on and tried to give us some energy.
