  1. I'm sure she is happy. I never was gushing over her, and was always doubtful to her motives. The only thing I can say positive, is that she did go to games, but perhaps that was downto the gushing she got from the fans at games.
  2. I have only seen the highlights on the BEEB but the 2 glimpses I saw gave me some hope. The first was how he won a tackle and the second how he made a fantastic move into space where Davis so nearly put him in. I know I will be in the very very very small minority but I would play Redmond alongside him, you then have a bit of pace up with him.
  3. I mentioned this a few months back.
  4. Giving away fans a large section, is this something we have to do? In such a vital game giving Brighton so many tickets seems a mistake to me, unless it is the rules. We gave them the chance to have basically a home end of support, ok we get more money in ticket sales, but if we don't need to do so surely the winning of the game by getting the best advantage would have been best. I know the support is not a massive reason for a result, but having that extra support does lift a team, especially when attacking the away end. It also dilutes the Saints fans volume, the Northam maythink they can be heard, but whenthe away support at that end outnumbers the home fans they get drowned out
  5. we are stuffed if we make the ground unhelpful to the team. Bring it on when or if we are relegated
  6. I was awake until 1.30 this morning so wound up about our club. I keep trying to tell myself it is just a business, but it is so hard to become detatched
  7. Have we at any time in recent history made aquick purchase of a player or speedy appointment of a manager. If we sacked MP today, they wouldn't appoint a manager until november
  8. Makes you wonder if the club are trying to save add ons of appearance money on our expensive signings lol
  9. if he was going to be manager, you’d see some quick signings to make him look good.none of the stalling he’s so good at
  10. gallows humour indeed lol
  11. The trouble is that safety is so tantalisingly close. The players look to be playing for him.
  12. thank god for that!!!!
  13. i do hope you are kidding
  14. the fans don't deserve it. A lot of the club staff don't. I feel that Katrina has tainted her fathers legacy. Took her payday at all costs.
  15. fans in general. It was not only on here but twitter etc etc. as well as at the stadium. The were many factors to the club getting rid of him, as well as his own decision not to change
  16. It is interesting that the fans wanting Puel out are still adamant .It shows he was in an untenable position with us and so sadly the club were right to get him gone.
  17. why the aggression Ron? I agree we shouldn't have appointed Puel in the first place. I had never heard of him and he was underwhelming. I gave him a chance and felt he was left out to dry by not giving him a goalscorer. I was hoping he would have had the summer to rectify the goalscoring problem, and us push on. The club were also wrong to keep putting him in front of the cameras when it was patently obvious nobody had a clue what he was saying, this annoyed us as a fanbase. Never have the club appointed a manager that really inspired me, we don't get the choice but each time we sack someone there is always a risk we get a dud. Sadly this time it looks like that has happened but on sunday we may think the club has done ok by keeping their nerve. The players seem to be fighting for him and so we might have a smll chance of riding the storm. Then comes the summer, what then????
  18. welcome, but your judgement is questionable if you think this is a good forum.
  19. it will also have given all the other clubs time to assess and make bids for him in the summer
  20. As the thread says. The Puel out thing divided the fans. I still feel cheated that he was sacked, I wanted to see him develop our team, and felt he was badly let down. Especially after the way he took us to Wembley, and finished in a decent position. A place to start from to get us even higher perhaps. He would have known our need for a goalscored and hopefully would have filled that gap. The Puel outs obviously will say they didn't want Pelligrino, but that's always the risk when you want change. You can only roll the dice so many times and get lucky.
  21. lets not get greedy. If we can start winning then the logjam can open a bit and the team will gain even more confidence. If we lose tonight and I feel that could happen as the pressure will be so much on us tonight, especially how all the other results went. They will come and defend and hit us with the sucker goal, its the way it happens to us. All due to the casual way the board have dealt with things
  22. I agree
  23. get 4 points in the next 2 games and it wont matterthat we didn't get Promes, as the team have started to build. Less points than that and it will degenerate.
  24. Why??? we need someone to put the ball in the net. We create lots of chances
  25. I really don't get why our fans are always having a go at Redmond. We need him to get his confidence back as he is going to be the player with pace in the squad. If Pep thinks hes a good player and sis frustrated that he can seeRedmond not being allowed to play the way he is best at, why cant the fans give him some slack. He has been shackled by the tactics of our manager. Think of defence first is his way. Ok fans don't like his perceived throwing his arms in the air,but that is because he cares IMO. He was involved in lots of the chances created but were missed. The glaring CA one againstHuddersfield the last I can recall. Had CA scored that we would not be where we are now. Give Redmond a chance, if Quincy doesn't come we need him desperately to spark into life
