Watford brought a massive forward on, he was basically a 6ft 3ins lump of muscle. So bringing on Yoshida was sensible. Sadly with a couple of minutes left you expect Yoshida to use his experience and not give away soft fouls just outside the area for them to pump the ball in. Luckily we scrambled the ball away before cedric gave a throw away that left them to nearly score in the last second. Overall I thought we were head and shoulders better than them. we still created chances when he took off Boufal, the fact is that we made numerous chances and failed to take them. Watford I agree, were allowed to come at us but they would have done that anyway as they had nothing to lose. It was a brave decision that worked. Letsbe, you can try and justify in your mind that Puel was no good and that you were right in wanting him gone, but I doubt if either of us will live to see us have a Wembley cup final appearance again in our lives. Puel was hung out to dry by the club not giving him a forward who could put the ball into the net. We both have been to many games that were 0-0 ,we have also been to many games where we won 1-0 in the most tedious of games, the feeling after each the 2 are different. Puel was unfortunate that we just didn't put the ball into the net and so the general frustration (understandable) built up. I doubt you would believe that had Puel stayed we would be in this position now. He would have got players in and also the style of play would have developed. Anyway, we march on together

agree, I recall how the fans last season were begging that JRod had to be kept. The club loved that so they didn't have to buy another forward, which in turn came back and bit us. We need someone who can do the job now
