  1. interesting thought. How long will Germany and the Dutch citizens put up with funding the Southern Europeans?
  2. I would suggest that most countries would like to join and have the customer base that comes with it. I dislike Brussels, the waste and hangers on, as much as the majority of Brexiteers but to cut away your major customer base seems madness to me. Do you really think that the Americans are going to do anything to help us?? I recall Trumps advisors sending memos out seeking to gin as much of an advantage getting our trade as possible. You only have to look back at history, to see that they joined WWII on our side when they could see they wouldn't get their money they had invested in us through lend lease etc. We are a small nation with a decent punch due to the size of our economy at this moment in time.We weren't always like that, it is our customer base with the EU that has put us in that position, remember when we joined what a state this nation was in
  3. http://www.hl.co.uk/news/2017/10/6/wall-street-moves-to-frankfurt-as-brexit-doubts-grow Many wont be sad bankers leaving the UK, but boy this is a mess that is just getting worse. Talk of the promised land when we leave is uplifting but the bare facts are becoming dire. Labour voters , Tory and the idiot Independence party voters have cost our nation and our children a future
  4. wish you were frigging mute lol
  5. What a bunch of academics we have on here.
  6. But CB is correct, people are not interested in the also rans. Even myself who should know better look at the Sky games on a sunday and see , Burnley v Newcastle or WBA I will probably gout. Wheras if it is Man U v Arsenal etc I will stay in to watch, even though the big games rarely live up to the expectation
  7. No f'ing pleasing some people lol, perhaps I shouldn't have messaged Granty afterall lol
  8. Pompey and pay lol. Give over Mack, you lot would accept a used condom rather than pay for an unused one
  9. http://www.hl.co.uk/news/2017/10/4/the-pension-storm-that-is-coming-to-europe A sobering article regarding Europes and the UK's pension future
  10. Lol, I will take that as a compliment, thank-you
  11. hilarious, Letsbe
  12. Very sad that a very good and promising player has been tagged to the other 2. Nathan Redmond is a fine player, who is low on confidence. Perhaps a couple of games on the bench may do him good, as fans will then want him back in the team. There again, most wanted Puel gone, and that worked out well, didn't it?. Still an appalling way to treat a decent man, who gave us some footballing highs that we may not see again for decades
  13. Wes, I've sent you a private message..........oooooooooooh. Never mind, Granty will get one instead. Then you will be able to post freely again.......oops Ive now become even more unpopular for doing that
  14. Having Celtic fans at our grounds would be not be a pleasant experience IMHO. Why would we want to import a group of fans, who in a major part hate the English?? I recall the invasion of Rangers fans in the 1970's to the Dell and around our city. It was a very unpleasant experience indeed.
  15. Keep giving away cheap penalties it might do. The pressure any 60m defender going to Liverpool will be intense. The fans have put so much on him, that if they don't start getting lots of clean sheets they will turn pretty quickly
  16. I notice today that it has been muted that Barcelona may want to join the PL if Catelonia breaks away from Spain http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11833/11065472/barcelona-in-the-premier-league-would-be-difficult-says-arsenal-boss-arsene-wenger The article goes onto say that the SFA had considered opening the door to let the Old Firm join the PL as well Especially Celtic, but if any other club from abroad were to join the PL that would be my lot with PL football. Imagine the scenes, as a club whose fans boo our national anthem, who sing songs about our soldiers being murdered etc, and all the hatred they would bring to our football grounds.
  17. £39.99 !!!!!!
  18. yes of course billion, thanks for pointing it out. As for net or gross who knows with all the smoke and mirrors of politics. one thing Is for certain,we will all be paying for the madness of Brexit. Not only financially but when we get a dose of Corbommunism after the next election
  19. nice one I'm nicking that one.....like I have a lot more you have put up on here lol
  20. I hadn't lurked on Sotonians for sometime, I looked again a few days back and it seemed nobody had posted for hours on end,lol The Saints forums are a bit like SMS, the vocal fans are all split up into different sections and so the full potential is lost. Oh Bearsy I miss you on here, you lighten the mood....oh and send me a fiver for the praise
  21. considering it was reported that the EU started at 100m it's not so bad. It is honourable and correct to pay for what we signed up to. It is also shrewd to tell other nations we need to keep onboard, that they will not pay/lose out by us leaving. At least until 2019 . We need their goodwill, for the final vote on the terms of us leaving
  22. now that was a pathetic pitch invasion. I noticed that at the front of the Oldham fans was what seemed like a father and his young lad, they just sat there and didn't think to move away from the Pompey massive. What is it with these lads who walk around behind the stewards with outstretched arms. Just giving it large but not really trying to get through.
  23. ive only seen a snippet but his challenge for the penalty looked sinister to me
  24. as the big 6 always have had the biggest income, the reason they are the big 6 is because they've always had the biggest revenue to crush the rest. Chelsea and Man City have only just come to the table due to wealthy owners of course. Strachan said when with us,that you nearly get to compete with them and then they take your best players and we are back to square one You have put up a good case for the big clubs to get more, but there is one thing to take into account, they signed the agreement.
  25. lol
