  1. Wasn't it 'it could have been so different'?
  2. you could see how beat up he was about us, and wanted to say more but paused before saying what he did

  4. That's fine but don't big it up that we have been so shrewd and clever in selling like some do. We gained a bit and lost a bit, add to that the targets coming in and seeing a strong squad may have been more keen than when they saw us in meltdown.
  5. so am I not allowed to comment of what I see as misleading statements? I totally understand your undying loyalty to the club, I have been in the same position myself, not under ASkam or Wilde and sadly now I am not convinced with the latest crew
  6. Fair point, and I hope Long turns out to be a fantastic signing. I am not concerned about AL because I think he was replaceable and hopefully Tadic turns out well. We were pretty amateur in our business, buy before we had sold and the prices would have been lower. The clubs held us to ransom and any massive gain is eroded due to the sellers knowing we have a pocket full of readies. RL was not only a goal scored, he was our talisman and provider of goals, very hard to replace IMO
  7. funny how you think you were being called an idiot when your 2 posts gave the impression everyone else was. As for understanding sport I think you should look in the mirror. Teams when they have lost their star players and characters are normally a shadow of the the team before. Koeman may be a brilliant man manger but to gel a team so quickly and get the spirit high is a mammoth task. Especially if you have a couple of players sulking either by feeling hard done by or now not No 1choice. Im pleased you enjoyed watching the players leave in the summer and had a good exciting time, personally I hope that your optimism is well founded. Whatever the result today it will not be a barometer of our season, the next 4 or 5 games after that will though. Here's hoping
  8. they did well in what they achieved for transfers (although Lovren was worth more to us ) but if you believe that Lambert + 8m for. Long is good business then I don't concur. I accept that Shaw AL and RL would go but that is when the drawbridge should have been pulled up. No use using MS as the lamb to slaughter when the damage had been done. As for relegation, we won't know for 5or6 games. We need the new team to gel instantly
  9. If you can't disclose your sources we know you can't be telling the truth
  10. And Boruc? As for Morgan I would have thought he will not be on cloud 9 having to stay. Yet again Reed seems to be giving misleading statements
  11. if Boruc is being such a child then it is a shame. I assume he didn't feel any guilt taking the place of others when he joined. They were professional and knuckled down

I agree, it would help though if we had a former player, his national captain , his National manager encouraging him to go though
  13. are Spurs playing the high tempo pressing game?
  14. take away 30 goals, and the best CB and i can see why. There does seem to be a lot of complacency. The team has been ripped apart and we have a team of new faces with a untested PL manager. i can see why an outsider would be doubtful.
  15. It's discrimination, I'd go for a claim BTF. i have just gone for annual renewal, I assume i will automatically to re-newed
  16. might be the case, i thought he did a load of money, but Im probably wrong
  17. Perhaps its delving into his private life. you know some nonce will come on and give personal stuff (made up even)
  18. watching paint dry is like a New Years eve celebration in his world. I assume he has to do work to keep paying for his betting
  19. nothing like being discreet re your sources.Harrison will have made himself popular with the club and players
  20. Id been married a year by then. It is so spooky when you see how long ago that was first out and how quickly 30years have flown by
  21. If you think you have been proven right I hate to see the carnage if you were ever proven wrong
  22. Many a true word said in jest. I dont think the manager will get any stick if things go wrong.I suspect any ire will be aimed at Reed and Krueger
  23. there must have been hell of a row there yesterday.Signing a player in the morning and leaving in the afternoon. I suspect Pulis lamped the chairman for this to happen so quickly
  24. Shamefully I cant remember his name but we had a forward who scored a few goals for us and moved to Plymouth. he scored a couple in a vital away game at Forest. Also a brave goal against WHU, would have been in the 90's...ive just remembered Mickey Evans
  25. I agree he is a decent keeper. Look at the goal Redmond scored against us at Norwich that was a bad one and obviously the Arsenal debacle. He ddi have a confident defence in front of him, Lovren is the major loss to us and i still cant get over why we let him go, he was worth 30m+ to us
