NA got out of jail on Wednesday night,he was fortunate that RL coming on turned the game. Had we lost by 4 I suspect there would be less protest. I feel sad for NA but he will not be out of work for long. I like everyone am god smacked but NC is showing some steel,that shows his ambition to fulfill ML vision

i recall the bitter sweetness of Saints players being called up. It ruined MLT, he was never the same after Hoddle threw him to the wolves after Englands WC defeat to Italy. The london press tore him to pieces and blamed him, typical Hoddle hid in the background and left MLT to be destroyed. Shearer also left him to be the fall guy. David Armstrong also got the call and was played out of position, and that effected him. BT etc became a big time charlie, and Bridgeys head was turned (although I cant recall fully if he was ay saints when he got his call up)

Be careful what you wish for. Beattie David Armstrong and MLT were really effected by their little bit of England experience. It can ruin confidence and also the players see the big time charlies with their big pay packets. they in turn can encourage the players to leave. Let them get ther caps when they are at other clubs, not when they can be tapped up when on international duty

Cant understand why windowcleaner and a few of the other doubters are not on this thread. A lot of people do not see his good work off the ball as well as his intelligence on it.

fans knocking JRod and comparing him to RL is not fair. RL is the finished article and probably our most PL quality player. Jrod is still learning, and in a while if the fans back him he will become a very useful CF for us. He is mobile and has good skill, the way he took the ball down in the first half was sublime

At no time did JRod appeal for a foul.I think intent can still be seen as a foul. Had the player not lunged at him he would not have had to take evasive action.Nobody mentioned about Matas dive. Had the tackle on Ramirez been on a top 4 teams player, it would be the headlines on SSN ,asking for the player to be banned.
